Of course it is a deal — today. You cannot change the laws of physics. Laws of physics. Laws of physics.

Weird, I'm using mine with a Sony m4 so not miles away from a z2 and using informer notifier from play store which works flawlessly. At work my phone never leaves my coat pocket all day but email/text/WhatsApp etc notifications come through to my sw2 with no problems. Using Sony stamina mode so the phone is sleeping quite heavily!

The biggest problem I have with the SM2 is that new email notifications just don't come through properly. I've tried the gmail extension, the Email extension for the Xperia Email app (I have an Xperia Z2 phone) configured for my POP3 server, and a third party email extension off the store also configured for POP3. Notifications of new emails only work when the phone's display is on. When it's off, nothing. I thought it might be due to the power saving options on the phone that disable mobile data and wifi when the screen is off, but it makes no difference whether this is enabled or not. Seems pretty pointless if it can't function when the phone's display is off.

Got one of these at Christmas. Soon as you realise most the standard sony apps are rubbish and 3rd party notification apps are far better its a great watch. The ability to remotely call any widget on the watch is really handy. I paid £49 which I'm happy with but can see the sw3 @£89 is tempting instead! Happy all the same with my sw2

Well if you wannabe pathetically technical than yes it's a deal alright - a BAD deal. Outdated, old and obsolete and gone up in price in the space of a week #NoThanks

Get the pebble steel, or even better a SW3. I'd recommend skipping this obsolete watch...

Cold not a deal is it really when it's been cheaper less than a week ago. It's not like it's a new model or out is it, in fact it's outdated as the 3rd gen is already out and has been for a while. it needs to be cheaper than it's ever been to be a deal and seen as it's gone up a fiver since the other week I vote cold.

Still waiting for improved battery tech to rolled out. The technology is there, just needs to be further developed and commercialised. Have a feeling I'm going to be waiting a few years though :disappointed:

steer clear of this piece of crap, get the sw3 instead, at least its proper android wear and not sony's aweful custom os. also the sw2 while claiming its waterproof, the warranty excludes it, well done sony.

Voted hot, looks good. Personally for me I'll hold off buying I think, but only because I'd like an Android Wear product.
