Poor chicken - probably expected to grow up and be one of the big boys at Waitrose, being served up majestically on a plate, at a well to do family home in middle England but alas, ended up never realising its dream, dumped in a freezer at Netto for the meagre price of two quid.

the add says chickens these are not whole chickens as they have no heads or feet so not much use as a pet or for laying eggs or taking for a walk as a matter of fact.

To be honest I was expecting a few eggs to be included in the price but the whole chicken is dead, so going to take back in the morning

What's more astonishing is that with only 13 stores they can offer deals like this!
So that's 2 chicken breasts, 2 legs for casserole, chicken pot pie and chicken soup. 3 dinners and a lunch.

Asda also do little chickens like this for two quid - usually not on the shelves with the other chickens but by the pizza or meat counters.

This little chick ate corn today,
This little chick ate worms they say,
This little chick ate yellow meal,
This little chick ate potato peel,
This little chick like a fluffy ball,
Ate a teeny tiny bit of all!
Corn today! Worms they say! Yellow meal! Potato peel!
