Can someone confirm those from b&m or home bargains are bpa etc free and totally safe to heat in microwave?
Also are they tightly sealed enough to hold liquid eg milk and then put in a bag for travel?

I can confirm that the product in this post is EXACTLY the same as those in home bargains for £1.

Can me old fashioned but I only use them to transport soups/liquids as totally leak proof but use a pan to warm contents up. Not sure about plastics in the microwave could be a recipe for the big 'C'

The cheap ones i seen never had the proper hinges just a part of the lid and will prob snap off after a while unless they sell the actual Sistema type.
I've had a few of the cheap ones they don't seal as well and the plastic cap for the vent has broken off. they work ok for heating just can't transport liquids in them

The one I got recently worked well, except after 3 uses in the microwave developed a very rough line, all the way round the inside. I've stopped using it because I was worried the materials it's made of could be shredding or leaking into the food.It was also a caution, that this made it difficult to be sure I could clean it properly.

Ive got two from HomeBargains, used regular and Ive had no problems with them. Still as robust as when I bought them a year ago. And still seal no issues.

Absolutely no problem with ones from Home Bargains been using them for over a year on a daily basis for soup, rice, scrambled egg. Have a fair collection of different colours, current price in Home bargains 79p.

I've got one, it leaks around the lid seal. I know of someone else with one, that leaks too.

Have had 2 sistema cups for several years and they have never leaked. However the last 2 that I purchased have both been returned as they leaked all over my bag. Will not be buying them again, dont think they are as goods they used to be.

people on here are incredible. the cheapo brands ARE NOT the same as these. These do not leak or give you cancer and they seal properly. Ones for £1 don't.
