This combination microwave has a premium stainless steel exterior with a large blue LCD display. Its large 42-litre capacity and 1000W power output makes the microwave ideal for the family home. The Sharp R982STM also features a multi-functional convection oven and a powerful 1400W grill, which allows you to brown and crisp your food.
Currently £219 in Currys but I got them to price match it as I had a gift card to use.

I bought a Panasonic Microwave/grill last week from John Lewis after our old Panasonic packed up after 12 years or so...

Great for cooking a roast for two, meat on one level and roast spuds below .Hardly use the main oven.
Cooks quicker and saves a lot of electricity(the bleeding obvious).

I've had mine for a few days now and it's not noisy at all. If it was it would have gone straight back.

Bought this and its the worst convection oven ever. Takes 20 min to get to 200c, a life time. My old samsung does it in 3min this will cost you in running cost, my opinion on energy rating is about an F........ being sent back.

Just ring customer services before you take it back and they will advise what to do. Your email confirmation is your invoice as you ordered it online.

All I can say is they're not very good, and not actually that much of a saving - we picked up one of these just before Christmas for £120 to replace the Sharp 959 we had that had just died. It takes forever to heat up - just to get to 180C took around 30 minutes. We ended up getting another 959 - under 10 minutes to get to 250C, and it has proper racks so you can use the whole oven space.
