It's against the law to wall mount a Seiki/Blaupunkt/Cello/Bush etc. in England and Wales

I am using one of these for a 50" hisense, great build quality.
Brought one returned it same day the panel whoever it is made by is awful SD pictures are unwatchable! Now got a Phillips 10x better 48" for £20 more

Not the panel per se, but the underlying processor capabilites.
Philips know what they're doing with picture processing

I bought one a few weeks ago and the picture quality was far better than i expected but the sound was terrible. I returned it because of this. Big TV for the money though.

Heat OP, nice to see this TV that's although it's Chinese, it is made here in the UK, in a factory in Wales I believe, good reviews on the Argos site too so buy buy buy! More UK made stuff please better for the environment and generates UK jobs

Leaded solder joints are more reliable. It was when some EU directive or whatever forced manufacturers to use unleaded solder that problems regarding reliability ensued. Obviously, Seiko... er Seiki in not bound by EU directives or whatever

I bought this but it has to go back.
Sound is awful but I can live with that, just use AVR.
The main problem is jerky picture. Really noticeable on some streaming sources, makes them unwatchable. Pity, because ootherwise a really nice big screen for the money :disappointed:

also taking this back because of jerky motion stutter. especially noticeable when watching animations for some reason. seems fine at times but noticed it more as week has gone on.

Bought this back in November and have been living with it ever since. Kept convincing myself it was due to bad compression. It's very strange as it seems to be fine in games but animated shows really suffer. Wouldn't recommend this tv because of this.
