Click on the link, it tells you next to the price how long it sold at that for, I think as long as they publish that, they aren't doing anything wrong , but to me, it's a bit devious

Yep. CES is round the corner (early January) and I can see a lot more TV's and newer technology being introduced which will in effect make these current 4K ones cheaper... as can be seen from HUKD over the past few days, theres been nothing but 4K deals... guessing the TV companies are trying to get rid of their inventory

Agreed CES @ Las Vegas kicks off in a week or so. Worldwide TV manufacturers announce and display new TV models for 2016.
Samsung already stated all 2016 TV models to be enabled for IOT(Internet of Things)

Yeah I know. That's kind of why they're so underwhelming...

tbh pay an extra £200 and get the a much better TV
I paid around £589 for the 48" version a few months back, it's a decent TV and 4K sources like BT Sport UHD and Netflix work very well on it. Full HD looks ok but standard definition content is poor/average given the TV is effectively downscaling pixels to upscale images. I personally wouldn't go for such a large screen just yet until 4K really takes off and OLED panels are cheaper. When Sky start broadcasting (probably in August 2016) these TV's will become even cheaper just like when they started showing HD and 42" LCD's were over a grand.
