I've just ordered this from Richer Sounds. 6 year warranty & 3D glasses just swung it.

I've got a price match with John Lewis for the ju6400 at 729 with 5 years warranty.
Besides being 3d what is the difference between this h6400 at richer sounds and the ju6400.
Is the ju6400 a better screen? Obviously if the h6400 is better I will go for that as it is cheaper too.
Not really going to use 3d but if it's there.. it is there.

After adding 5yr warranty (49.99) and having to pay for delivery (£34.95) this comes to £663.94.
I took a quick look and the tv's look quite similar to me

Well since all 4k tvs have built in upscalers the ju6400 will make ur hd look a lot better but probably wont notice a huge difference in anything not hd. But yea they both have better panels than the j5500 so would recommend both 6200 and 6400 over it

I wouldn't buy a normal 4k TV to future proof, they are upgrading them to HDR soon, there is a massive difference in colour, still no 4k content, there will be a limited amount of 4k blu rays released No console support for 4k prob for at least 3 years,May be better to get a cheap 1080p if really needed then sell in 1-2 year time when there is more content.

I would personally pay 200 or 300 more and get a uhd TV for future proofing and because 1080p pixels would starts to be visible at that size. however it is a great price and a solid TV

Same price at PRC Direct. Who's the better of the two?

Thanks for the input. I won't use 4k now but I guess it's worth having for a TV I'll b keeping for at lest 5 years.
Would you say the 6400 is overall better than the 6200... which in turn is better than the 5500.
Not really concerned about 3d would rather the picture quality be better for HD and non HD channels.

Here's an interesting review.
This set apparently has a deeper blacks than the H6400 which has higher refresh rate (CMR 200 vs 400) but comes with 3D glasses and additional smart remote.
That's put a other option in the mix. This or the j5500 or the ju6400. 5500 is 589 price match at John Lewis and 6400 729 price match.

That depends on whether u want a 4k tv or not, if u do then the ju6400 is ur best option. If your not bothered about 4k then the h6200 is a better tv than the j5500, it has better motiom capabilities cuz it has a 100hz panel and it is 3d ready. The only benefit of the j5500 is that john lewis will give 5 year warranty on it

Would I be better off buying this version for £649 with 6yr warranty, delivery and 2 3d glasses:
