Not much of a saving but still: buying the Samsung Note 4 (black or white, link is to black) from Amazon Spain, amazon.es, gives saving of approx. £25 on Amazon UK price of £360. This includes 1-day shipping: if you select standard shipping you save a (further) fiver, or thereabouts.

I've been waiting for weeks for the note 5 to be released in the UK. But now reading the comparison between the 4 and 5 they look identical, in fact the 5 is lacking a removable battery and a micro sd slot. So what is the benefit of the note 5 over the 4?

I agree. The Note 4 is better in my opinion.

You get to pay more, for less, and keep Samsung happy.
SN5 should never have happened. Everyone is waiting for the Galaxy Alpha A9 or Galaxy S7 as the replacement for a SN5. Noone is buying the SN5 *if* they care about battery and/or microsd card.

Good to hear. Have a Note 3. Like big screens. Thought would go for Nexus 6 rather than a Note 4.

Yes but the Galaxy Alpha A9 or Galaxy S7 both don't have a stylus which makes them not an option if you want a stylus

I've had mine since before black Friday for £309 and thank God I did, it was rumored to come down in price on black Friday, then Christmas then new year. Best phone on the market in my opinion and well worth the money

I'm on EE myself actually, my note 2 contract is £11.99 a month, I don't even know my minutes and text allowances as I never use them all, data is only 500mb but I'm usually on wifi. Obviously I'd love a contract on a note 4 offering me similar for maybe a little more money. Or I'm thinking it's best to buy the phone outright and take a low cost sim.

Seems to be dropping on a fairly regular basis at the moment.
An EE assistant told me that a Samsung rep had given him a nod and a wink that the Note 5 is coming to Europe, so it could be something to do with that.
same contract.. no hassle and massive saving on mobile bills

Samsung have announced that the note 5 will be officially released in the uk before the end of Jan. If you can wait a few weeks it may be cheaper still after that.

What's the best low use contract for this phone please? I got a really good deal on a note 2 almost 2 years go from someone's recommendation on here. So I'm thinking another conract or buy a phone outright and get a sim deal. I haven't looked into upgrades yet, this is the first contract I've had so not experienced the upgrade haggle.

Not exactly cheap, but a great phone, and cheapest you can find one atm (unless you want to sign a contract).
