I remember 128gb was a fantasy amount of data, more than you could ever need for a lifetime.

This looks similar to the Sandisk Ultra which puts me off as I find the Ultra 32 & 64GB gets hot in my laptops USB 3 port but not in any USB 2 port?

My first "proper" PC, ie x86 was a pentium 90, operating frequency was 90 Mhz, came with about 4MB RAM and a 200MB HDD if I remember correctly, just had a floppy drive, no sound card or cd drive, had to buy those seperately and were expensive. I think the PC tower/screen combo cost approx £1000 and the sound card and cd ROM, was about another £250 I think... upgraded to a cyrix 166Mhz CPU a little later. It's amazing that today people think PCs are expensive really, when you think what little you got back then and how slow they were.

I hadn't noticed they'd changed the name to Ultra Fit.
You might be better off upgrading your 360 to 320 or 500GB - you can get 360 parts for peanuts these days. Personally I have a 2TB hard drive behind my 360 and another one behind my XB1 and never really have to worry about running out of space

Great price. These fast USB 3 drives are great to use as a cheap ssd alernative on Xbox one to get a decent performance boost on games. Much quicker than the internal hdd.Up to 10% or better load times and fps boost on something like fallout 4. Possibly more.

Ah, memory lane, who can forget the ""massive"" hard drives for the Amiga, for example, 20mb for nearly £300, I bought a 340MB drive for £340, lol.
I got one a while ago haven't had a problem with it, worth every penny

You win... I was in at 100mb HDD hah
Though my Amiga had a 1mb hard drive... and then the commodore and spectrum beforehand.
All hand-me-downs though to be fair, I'm only 31.

If this is anything like the UltraFit then this is a great deal! I'm tempted to buy but I recently got a 128gb UltraFit.

Anyone know how this compares to the Sandisk Cruzer Fit which is a lot smaller and costs just £1 more?

Ultra Fit*
I'd like to know too! I'm looking to buy a 128GB+ USB flash drive to keep inside one of the back ports of Xbox360. I'm currently using a 1TB external hard drive but it's way too much storage and looks a bit clunky hanging out. I had thought I'd use it both for Xbox One if I ever get that, but maybe a 360-only USB flash drive would be more sensible.

problems with these are that they have nothing to dissipate the huge amount of heat generated (they are very small) heat plus memory dont mix and you would have to be crazy to keep anything important on this

Flash memory really shouldn't be producing any significant heat. Ever.
