Is this the same as the free one on Amazon Underground?
Yes seems to be. Seems you can only install it via the Underground app too as it tries to charge me from the link above

Shame the Runtastic Mountain Bike PRO isn't 10p as well instead of £4.99 :disappointed:

Its rubbish compared to the running one anyway.. Doesnt integrate music properly like the running one.. and it lags behind on features and updates (no android wear support for example), the only slight advantage is that the MTB pro one supports the runtastic speed/cadence sensor.. while this one doesn't..
If you don't have that (and I recommend you not buy it for this reason), the running pro is better anyway even for Mountain Biking.

it's very accurate always works had issues with the Nike app and a few others before. I do a lot of running and this has never frozen so well worth the 10p

Please can anyone tell me if this will run on any Android smartphone? Not bothered about paying 10p obviously but we have a Huawei phone somewhere around the house and was wondering is this app would be good for my 11yo son for running club - been thinking to buy him a gps watch but it's not serious enough to warrant paying out £60 for one at the moment...

Is there anyway to search for these 10p apps that keep cropping up, other than the App of the Week?

Heat from me Turkey; looks to have Android Wear integration so it's wortha punt at 10p
Bought this last time it was 10p. Really good app - although I use it less now I have a fitbit. Its really good for the likes of interval training as you can set up your session.
On a general run it gives you an update of how fast you are running every 1km - I would prefer more regular updates (not sure if you can change that) and also I would like to set goals times / and or pace to run at - not sure if it does that. But overall well worth 10p if you are beginner runner like I am.

On the former, it may be because you start hitting the issue of how accurate your phone's GPS is tracking. Even at 1km, the GPS signal on my phone (urban area) throws some inaccurate results back at me - I imagine cutting the voice updates down much further risks lots of negative feedback from the clueless when their 500m/250m voice updates throw back crazy times just because the GPS signal fell down.

Hi Stan - when I purchased the pro version of this app it didn't give me a promo code to key into the iOS version of the app? Do you have any other tips on how you managed it?

I have this app on iOS, it's very good. I've used it for about a year now, running 3 or 4 times a week. It connects to my Bluetooth heart-rate monitor too which is handy. It gives you all sorts of info about your run such as average pace, average speed, max speed, elevation, duration and calories burned. You can easily plot your own runs and challenge your previous runs around the same course. A voice interrupts your music every 1KM to tell you your distance, time and heart-rate (because I've got the additional Bluetooth heart-rate monitor) and if you're ahead or behind yourself compared to previous runs. There is an option to upgrade to a premium service, but I wouldn't call the adverts for it obtrusive. I think the premium service gives you more in the way of detailed run reports and an expanded achievement system. I had a free trial of it once (the premium service) but didn't take up the option.

Quite often these Runtastic apps are free on the app called App of the Day and sometimes appgratis they are however only limited to the phone you installed them by using this method.
10p is a good deal and its yours to keep and transfer to future phones.

Not the pro versions that have been received through the 2 apps I mentioned .You can download them again but they wont be pro versions unless you have a rooted phone with a special backup.
Thats why I said this 10p option will let you keep it for future phones.

Good app, I purchased and used the pro version before buying a running watch and it worked well for me. My only frustration was that even with the pro version you still get spammed with runtastic gold adverts and I expect this is part of the reason they're doing this promotion.

Very good app.Purchased it when it was a free offer about 18 months ago for my iPhone. I use this when running around a park in Coventry. I found it used a lot of my mobile data up though. So i switched mobile data off but it still tells me,at required intervals, how far i have ran.Don't know how it does that. Didn't used to do that when i had the free basic version!

how are people finding getting a satellite signal when starting your session. Is there a delay or signal cutting out mid workout?
