I have the 32" version in my bedroom and its fine for general viewing decent SD picture as well but wouldn't have as a main TV.

Those reports are wrong. This thing does not handle motion well in darker scenes - notice that I didn't even say "dark". You will see some quite severe ghosting. The angles are quite limited too, so if you are planning on running from side to side in front of your telly, as some of us are known to do, then you won't be too impressed.

no wifi or ethernet but the reports say its got a great picture. 4 hdi's so it sounds like a kodi candidate.

It IS a good price. However, don't buy this if you're a film lover or indeed a gamer - it will disappoint for both. For general viewing though it's mostly okay. Yes, I have seen this one in action as I ordered it for work.
