No it isn't, it's a media playback app, you need to add add-ons for streaming, most are dodgy and illegal.

I got a fire stick but so far havent used it as it apoears you have to pay for everything,whats the point really disappointed what is kodi what does it do and how much is it please? x

I agree with these being poor. Roku and Fire stick both (in our house) beat this hands down.

Save your money and get an Amazon Fire stick and load kodi on to it

must say i have owned one for a year and i'm pretty disappointed in them - mirror screen frequently crashes or lags depending on app used and about the only apps that are worth using are plex, youtube and iplayer - all of which my android tv box does at least as well.
only use it has anymore is passing around my phone when i have friends around for queuing up songs and comedy on youtube, which it admittedly does brilliantly, and the castpad app which can do pictionary on a big screen nicely.
