Note, this book is a continuation of the first one. Red Dwarf : Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers.

Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers is the best but this is also good. Chris barry is an amazing narrator of the first
EDIT .. woah just realised this is narrated by chris barrie as well. The version I have (on cassette tape lol) is narrated by Craig Charles. Cheers op I'll give this a go
EDIT 2 .. actually I was going mad that's the 3rd book read by Craig Charles. I already have this.

I dont count The Last Human as the third book, its awful and have tried to blank it from my mind. Backwards is the only third book to me.

Perfect for those needing something to do while playing a game of Toot and worth it just for the private dinner party with the twelve bearded gentlemen

The books are great, a totally different feel from the TV series. The show was fun, cheap laughs, whereas the books were a more serious affair. Still have some great jokes though.

You don't need a membership to buy daily deals, you don't even have to have an audible account, you can just log in with amazon credentials.

Really enjoyed the first three books, add a bit of depth to the characters (especially Rimmer) and expands on some of the things touched upon in the episodes it covers.
Avoid The Last Human though, you can tell the author just wanted to leave Red Dwarf behind and write a standard scifi story. The only thing that makes it feel in anyway a Red Dwarf book is the character names.

The Last Human was written by the writer that stayed, Backwards was written by the one that left (Rob Grant).

This is book 2, book 1 is also on sale albeit not quite the bargain that this one is. Both for less than £7 is a right bargain in my book. Been listening to book 1 for a few hours today and so far brilliant. And i've never really seen the tv show. May have to check it out now.

Yea I wasn't a fan either. Not a huge fan of this one either as it's no where near as good as the first but it is still decent and worth this price. Not read backwards do you think it's worth it?

Is it possible to purchase to listen to a cheapo generic Mp3 player. Did a quick search and just more confused. I appreciate that conversion may be needed but is there a straight forward process? Heat given and purchased as excellent price.

Backwards is brilliant, even just for the Ace Rimmer story line.

I've just started watching Red Dwarf for the first time on Netflix and love it!!!! Season 7 is a bit weird with no audience laughter but its still good....

Series 7 is the "one we dont talk about" but worth it for the rimmer episode alone!!! Lolol
