For years I always bought the Lidl concentrated screenwash. But they no longer seem to sell it - and I'm just running out of my stocks now the weather has turned cold - annoying!

If you are going in europe you will not get away with this. Must be at least -20 just to be sure. I this this one is -5. I remember last year bought -60. When I was cleaning my windshield it was like I was buying myself a drink. You can get drunk from the fumes

Yea, easier to carry home, and can be increased in strength in winter. Can't understand the craze for pre-diluted.

I ran out a while back and have been making do with Aldi ready mixed stuff, and had kept a small amount of more concentrated stuff from Morrison's in case the weather turned as cold as it just has, and my eyes lit up when I saw screen wash on offer at Lidl, until I realised of course its the useless ready mixed stuff :-(

Same here, they are now selling W5 screenwash!!!, had to go to Halford's and buy -20 screewash. Given up buying stuff from Lidl, it's gone downhill.

The quality of screenwash matters a lot as tap water is about 1.5p for 5l, so diluting some good quality concentrate costs almost nothing. Any retailer could halve the concentration and adjust the price as they like.
Is this stuff any good ? What temperature does it freeze at ? I couldn't see that on their website.

this is the normal price in aldi and its been available in my local (macclesfield) for a few months, but as mentioned its not very good, i left it in the car the other day and when it started to get cold and freeze, i went to put some in my screen wash and it had frozen in the bottle ??

Can't see this as a hot deal when half of what you're paying for is water.

I cant believe people are buying ready to use screen wash instead of adding a few capfuls of concentrate to tap water,
whatever next.........ready made coffee?

I think this person does get out a lot, hence knowing how much screen wash they use in their car.

Standard ready mixed useless for winter use, I use wilko extra strength screenwash in the winter doesn't freeze so easily (-22) bit more expensive at £3 for 2/5 litre but concentrated so dilute 2 to 1 or even 3 to 1
