I just got a quote and bought M&S home insurance via Quidco to get £45 cash back. Fairly decent on a cheap contents only policy... However much to my suprise, when I got to the M&S site, it had a £40 voucher too... £85 back for a really cheap policy, basically paid for itself with this much back on such a cheap policy!!

You won't be able to use the voucher if you shred it. :stuck_out_tongue:

You'll be lucky if you get it as on the T & C's on quidco it states that you won't get the food voucher if you go via quidco

I spoke with the call agent and they clarified for me

same goes for nationwide customers who would get a £50 Amazon voucher but not if you go through quidco

The terms say "unless posted on this page" and the mention of £40 voucher is on the page so that assures me I'll get it. Plus the call centre agent confirmed it is bundleable...

What kind of cover is under 85 pounds getting you? Must be minimal.

I pay £125 for full coverage house & contents inc accidental damage etc for a 3 bed terrace. All depends on your area and NCD. As for the cashback, I find that the quote goes up when you go via quidco so it's worth comparing with and without.

sadly quote was a lot more then the price of cashback so not worth it for me.

Mine was 105gbp, only paid 60 only last year, and was quoted 65 this year.
Went with marks n sparks, 105gbp no voluntary excess contents only.
The gift vouchers confirmed either way, and quidco will probably track.

Funny I left Quidco after constant issues and have been on TCB 12 months with no issues and many transactions

Where do you claim the 40gbp marks voucher?

Nice deal op. I usually go via quidco to gocompare and get £2 cashback for getting quotes, then work out from the quotes best deal after the cashback via quidco again. Bit of a faff but if you do it the following year just use same details, login, on gocompare and a lot quicker. Saved an absolute fortune doing it this way on home and 2 car insurances.
My neighbour was saying what a great deal they got by haggling the price to £250 for their home insurance! I paid £110 and £40 cashback last year

Great, got tracked quidco confirmation this morning and the voucher is sent automatically. Normally end up paying about £35/40 in all for my contents insurance, M&S were £90 before all the reductions.

did a quote through M&S £112, minus £47 TCB and possible £40 voucher would leave £25 if you think of the voucher as cash.
Tesco were £40.10 through go compare and most other companies were around £42 - £45.

Just waiting to see if quidco picked it up!
