It's finally here! (Yes!) Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty will FINALLY release this week on PlayStation Vita, it's set to launch at £14.99 (WHAT?), but it's currently on sale at £6.19! It's a cross buy title so if you purchase now for £6.19 on the PlayStation 4 format, it will be compatible with the Vita version on release.
The good news? If you added Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty to your PlayStation account when it was offered as a part of PlayStation Plus back in April, you can download and play it on your PlayStation Vita FREE! Happy days :)

It's not cross buy, asks to be purchased for me even if I own the ps4 version I had with the plus
If you took advantage of this game when it was free but deleted it off your harddrive it will show unavailable in the store however on your PS4 home screen, if you scroll over to the right and look in library it will allow you to re download this at no cost to you, Id like to point out this also works when you upgrade your hard drive, Upgrading the hard drive on your PS4 is extremely easy to do, you wont need an external hard drive to save your game data on to it if your are a PS+ member as all your game saves and free games you have chosen are stored in your cloud storage, all you need is a 1gb memory stick max to download latest software, hope this helps some of the questions/concerns im reading on here?

I bought this last week for the same price on the PS4. Seems odd that it's only being released this week when I already bought it and completed it. Great game.
EDIT: Just checked and I bought it on the 6th Jan. Shame they changed some of Abe's phrases from the original but still loads of fun.

I regret buying this only a month before it was free on ps plus. I didn't like the game at all so I haven't even got my moneys worth and deleted off my hard drive. Awful game.

Oddworld new n' tasty is on Xbox one cus I've been waiting for it to go down in price or be made a game with gold, keeping my fingers crossed.

Just finished Munch's Odyssey on the Shield TV once again, held up its age very well and was still very enjoyable.
Wish they would do some more Oddworld titles.

Great game, completed it when free on PS+. Very nostalgic and as challenging as ever.
Strangely now when I try to download it again on PS4 the store page says 'unavailable'. Has been that way for months actually.

We’re also delighted to reveal that the game will be Cross Buy on PlayStation platforms, meaning that if you buy New ‘n’ Tasty from the PlayStation Store on one platform, you’ll also get the other two versions included. We’re also busily implementing Cross Save, so you’ll be able to take your progress from the PS3 and PS4 versions on the road (and vice versa) if you also have a Vita!
