Its like a big grapefruit but a lot nicer.

The one I got was yellow on the outside & was like a grapefruit in taste & texture. The one in the picture looks much more appealing than the one I had.

Much sweeter than grapefruit. Delicious fruit. Try it if you haven't before.

The one we recieved had not been very juicy at all, almost dry in texture inside - suggests that It had been sitting around for a while :/

I would like to try one of these but cant because of the medication im on :disappointed:

I also tried one of these from Lidl. texture was very dry, almost no juice. Really disappointed. Maybe try another. segment membrane peeled off very easily.

To anyone that's not had one don't just gobble into the pieces - they're like orange segments inside but you can take off the skin off the segments and then you've got the individual cells and if you want you can just pick them apart one by one and make it last ages - that's the fun of having one of these. I love it.

Biggest circumference is outside so rind is almost 3 quarters.

When these are in perfect condition, they really hit the spot :smiley:
So worth the effort of preparing.

Will be in Lidl tomorrow for some of these if they have any left!

£5.99 each these in Harrods yesterday.

They were 99p all last week and it was already good price.

That's why I saw so many people buying this in Lidl today. Damn it! I thought it was still 99p. I would have bought a few. Love this stuff.

Now i see this fruit is named after Pomelo Anderson for obvious reasons

there are boxes of these in lidl peterborough, the one by the gym.

I haven't had this in years.... not sure I'm able to go to lidl but heat for reminding me to keep an eye for the fruit in my local supermarket. these are amazing

there's loads in the Peterborough store
