Surely you can only make lemon juice, if life is just giving you lemons :stuck_out_tongue:
Or does life give you the other ingredients too?

I have an Apple Watch Sport and even I'm tempted by this - I never use apps or voice features. The only thing I'd miss is the fitness stats I get every day, which encourage me to keep moving. I loved my (standard) Pebble before this - and the fact that I could easily use it while cycling (to change tracks) and with wet hands. It's also great not having to worry about charging your watch every day. I would say that if you aren't bothered about Inspector Gadget style voice features and won't use apps then there's every reason why you might buy this instead of an Apple Watch, and if I didn't already have an Apple Watch I would have probably ordered this.

I have my iPhone connected via bluetooth to my car handsfree. Does anyone know if this will present an issue if my phone is also connected to this when I go into the car?
i.e. will one of the connections drop off?

I have them both connected with no problems, flashes on the arm and rings through the loud speaker on hands free.

Ended up buying this on Amazon but prefer the silver so going to send it back. Instead ordered silver from currys, bought £75 of vouchers on zeek so ended up saving £6 on the transaction!

That all depends on your budget. The Pebble at £50 doesn't really compare to an Apple Watch starting at £300. Even if you can afford an Apple Watch with a new version due this year, I'd say get the Pebble as a stopgap and see if Apple's new device is worth the upgrade when it arrives.

Works fine. I have mine connected to the car too. Actually the pebble makes 2 connections to the phone.

got this from curry's deal. had moto360. prefer this with the fantastic battery life and smooth interface. zero lag at all. also screen always on. for me it does the same as moto did. never used voice anyways. I would recommend this.

Because in the last week you have probably like 99% of Hukds bought 6 toasters 9 kettles and 114 mates (the rubber kind) and don't have room for anything else

This! I bought it solely for having changeable funky watchfaces. An always-on screen and something that looks good (as a plain old watch) were a must - and I think the pebble steel still aces all the other smartwatches in this respect. Notifications was a very useful and pleasant bonus. Phone can stay in the pocket on silent!

I've got the standard Pebble Smartwatch and it's great, especially for never missing a notification which is very easy to do when your phone is the other side of the house, or in a pocket or bag. The apps are a little limited but I've found the Uber app works great, just a few button presses to get a taxi to your location and with the app the first fair is free!

I have the pebble steel, battery is great, looks good. Do I use any of it's smartwatch features? No, not really.

dando83 voice response is not v intuitive on the new pebble.. go for the steel one.. it looks really nice and classy

I agree about the looks. Even the steel version of the Pebble time does not look as good as its older black and white version.

bambulus the new one only adds a colour screen.. i find loads better the back and white ink screen.. that the cheap feel of the new pebble time

For us potential buyers if you could tell us the ways we'd be grateful. I was so close before I realised that it was only the newer Pebble Time that provided voice response.
