That is just 2100 * 5 ..... what has that got to do with the life of the battery? 2100 is the amount of times they can be charged - you may charge it weekly. I am guessing that if the device is not charged then they keep 75% of charge - again nowt to do with the life of the battery.

I own some of these 7DayShop batteries (as well as the Eneloops) and there's no comparison. About half of the 7DS batteries have simply died & refuse to charge. The ones that remain lose their charge very quickly.
I have some LED Christmas decorations and the 7DS batteries will outlast the Eneloops by only about half an hour, despite their supposed significantly greater capacity.
I bought a bucketful of Eneloop Pro AAs from 7DS before Christmas at £10 for 4: am tempted to buy more at these prices. Heat for the deal.

Gp recyko or eneloops for aaa. eneloops or vapextech for aa. If eneloops aren't on offer the alternatives mentioned are normally cheaper and as good. Haven't tried Amazon basics though. My advice is based on the old mega rechargeable battery thread on here from two years ago and experience. Most other brands just don't cut it, or have crappy cells that degrade fast. On a slightly different note I have been buying these Banggood. Really good for keeping your batteries tidy, I put them away in one of these when charged. Great for AA or AAA.

Eneloops are pretty much the best, but because I don't have a high drain AAA application I settled for the cheap pack of Tronic ones from Lidl which do a perfect job in remotes for years and years which is the most typical application I imagine.
I tend to think cheaper AAA cells aren't as big a deal as AA performance for me, because I don't need them for anything particularly important. AA then eneloops cannot be beaten and are the go to model for digital cameras, gamepad controllers etc

While there's a rechargeable battery thread on the go, I recently bought a good recharge unit. What's the best routine with regards to replacing rechargeable batteries? Say you are playing Xbox, then the batteries on the controller go. I had some that had been charged ready to go in, but they had been charged a few days before and had given back some of their power. Is there a proper system you should use? I have Eneloops and Fujitsu.

I have a different, but similar one. By all accounts it's a good one, though. It will charge individual cells and allow you to control the current going in to maximise the life of the batteries. Eneloops really are decent batteries - it pays to get a decent charger such as this to look after them.
It's horses for courses. Here there is a discussion about buying probably the best rechargeable batteries in the market, there are of course cheaper alternatives. If you want to buy good batteries and simply recharge them without ever conditioning them then the one you suggest is likely good enough. If you want to be able to condition and extend the working life whilst maintaining the top capacity of the batteries you need a conditioner.
I have 'recovered' some otherwise knackered rechargeable batteries I've had for years using this charger including those of other people which for example sit relatively idle in cordless telephone handsets.
