You use bath towels in your car? that is really romantic, i must try that with my wife . Can you imagine me saying
to her " Darling we will have a bit of romance in the car, the bath towels weigh 350gsm. but they are 18 inches long, long
enough to cover my bits. She would be well pleased.

Yes I do towels separate as don't like washing my clothes at 60, prefer 40 for clothes except jeans that I do at 60. Engineer said I should do more mixed loads too but I just switched to thinner towels and seems fine now.

Me too. I've got really expensive ones from House of Fraser and TK Maxx and Asda ones I picked up in Summer last year and I much prefer the Asda ones. My dear ones are too thick and ended up nearly ruining my Bosch machine as they are too heavy and were knackering the bearings!

420gsm? Great if you want to mop up some spilt water but not so great when you come out the shower and your towel disintegrates!

Charcoal won't show the dirt either. I usually use brown towels for that reason. Heat added.

I prefer thinner towels as they dry quicker and take up less room in the washing machine.
