I have used Gearbest in the past and generally had good experience. Just be aware when something goes wrong like your parcel gets lost in the post you will get really awful customer support, to the point it will wipe out any previous good sentiment you had for this company! Firstly, delay tactics to push you as close as possible to the Paypal deadlines for filing complaints and also they will try their hardest not to refund you. Even after they've admitted liability they'll offer you a partial refund to spend on their site. Most of the emails they send you seem to be cut and paste from templates because their english is poor, you will only get a response two days after each query. Just this one bad experience with Gearbest has put me off ever using them again, not because my parcel was lost but because of the sneaky tactics they use to keep your money! I'm in the middle of Paypal dispute because Yodel lost the parcel in the UK.
Having said that the tablet seems a great deal, but not for me.

I bought one of these Chinese items ones, I should of burned my money rather. Would be more productive than the item I received. Don't be fooled on the specs

Nothing wrong with the specs, and most real life reviewers who have reviewed this Onda seem to suggest the exact opposite of what you encountered. Maybe the tablet wasn't the issue or you got a lemon.
Explain the problem you encountered and I'll try to help you.

I'd reuse to pay it. You ordered from the EU, its not your fault it was delivered from somewhere else. Just hope you can prove you ordered from an EU point of sale.

Sounds like a good deal but be aware when ordering from Gearbest EU warehouse.
My experience: Ordered mobile from EU warehouse. Surprised to receive it from the far East by DHL. A week later received invoice from DHL to pay customs charges. Contacted Gearbest who say that EU warehouse was out of stock so they shipped from China warehouse and now refuse to pay the DHL charge. Did not inform me that EU warehouse was out of stock. Be warned..

Still showing £56+ on PayPal. = $78.89

It does says £51.90, when the currency is set to GBP on the product page. But when you're in PayPal, it goes back to USD, and then converts it into sterling - that's when the exchange rate alters the price. It showed £51.90 + £1.70 shipping insurance, so should be £53.60 right, but then says 81.47 USD - converted to about £59 - yeah! No thank you.

Your right it is more today as the Dollar is stronger. I just tried it, still showing as $78.89 charge in paypal (sreenshot below). Works out to be about £55.30.

Is this Dual Boot, (Win and Android)
or do you install the OS once at first boot

Dual boot it is,the OS are already installed, you just press an icon to change from one OS to the other.

If you read the thread before you posted, you would have noticed it has changed to £51.90 23 hours ago. A massive £1.32 difference. But as this is a China seller based of USD then its prone to change due to exchange rates.
But thanks for your informative post.

I bought this very same tablet last week also from this very same site - first off, make sure you buy it from their EU warehouse -I only payed about £5 more which included insured shipping (got here in about 3 working days). If you buy ex-China not only will it take about 2 weeks, but you also risk being stung with import + admin fees and it WILL cost you more -- also goes without saying you've got no consumer protection whatsoever buying from China.
The other thing is, be aware the Android side on this is worthless (has 4 trojans/deeply embedded viruses on it) which you cannot remove without rooting this thing, which is far too much hassle and I really can't be arsed with in case it bricks the tablet and renders the Windows partition unusable. I am typing from this tablet right now and the Windows side appears to be clean according to my usual round of security software (although I would argue that W10 is slightly more lenient spyware and I had to use third party programs to block all of its botnet crap that MS forces on you).
I bought this thing for web browsing and it is really good for that (battery life is not too shabby on mine either - about 4-5 hours on the Windows side with all power saving features turned on). Easily way better than any tablet you can buy right now in the UK for under £100 (I was originally going to get the Linx with half the RAM for £50/£40 after discount from Sainsbury's, which was impossible to find anywhere near my area). That 2GB RAM really comes into its own on this thing.

Depends, if you like a gamble and aren't bothered with fact there is no warranty on this, is if it breaks in 3 months gearbest won't care, then on paper this looks great. However, like most people once they experience GB 'customer service' there's a reason we never go back, and post warnings like this.

Its actually not got that bad reviews if you can believe them. 4.7/5 from 24 reviews.
Like anything from China there always a possibility to be charged, I have never personally been charged for anything I have ordered from China. Usually they mark the items as a $25 gift so customs never even bother opening them.
