Surely no slower than driving? Getting out of town onto the A/M 4 can be a nightmare, then that itself can be slow going.

Try 'just park' - just booked 9 days at the Marriott hotel car park In December for £33.
I know it's not 'on' airport but it's on Bath Road - on the fence line with the airport.
free Heathrow bus or hotel hoppa for £9 return
£20 cheaper than purple parking offsite were going to charge.
Hope this helps someone.

Cheers op! Had one booked with Purple Parking which was just over £10 more than this. Booked this one and will now cancel the PP one.
Also, this was for Terminal 5 so it does apply here as well.

can you book for more than five days but return early and exit if the cost of paying for 5 days is cheaper than 3 days for example?

Nice find but NCP is still cheaper, we've used them before for terminal 2 and 3. Like Heathrow Long Stay, you get to keep your keys with regular transfers to the terminals.

can you book extra days and still turn up late ? book from 22nd March to get deal but turn up 25th ?

Unsure if the barriers would allow entry on an unspecified date or not.
I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to, as you would have paid for the days spent in the car park. But the system seems quite automated and you could possibly run into a few problems with the ANPR cameras not recognising your particular number plate on the specified day.
Hopefully someone else might be clear this up?

Book through money saving expert, it gives a good discount. Heathrow 20 days meet greet for £66 in May.

Good deal. Last year it was cheaper for me to get a taxi there and back to Gatwick rather than pay airport parking....

Booked this last week. Works out cheaper than purple parking, no long bus journey and no handing over your keys and hoping you get the car back in the same condition!

Picc line was my original plan but no good when you need to be at the airport at 7 am on a Sunday, as the first train from my station doesn't arrive at Heathrow until after 8 .

Ouch! Might be worth cancelling the original booking if you get the whole payment back? I'd check availability on this deal before doing anything though, as some dates are sold out.

The Heathrow link takes you through to the usual site with no mention of 'winter offer' am I missing something? Prices have been the same here for a couple of weeks.

Select dates (5 days or more) with Terminals 2,3 or 4 and the quote will show you the winter offer with rates at £4.49 a day.
