No, because if we had to click on every single deal link just to get the basic info for every deal we would be opening and closing hundreds of new tabs every day. No thanks.

So no way of doing it on-line, you can only get 2 for £20 by asking in store?

Seems so, I couldn't see anyway to get the deal on their website. Sucks IMHO, they shouldn't get away with having different pricing in store vs online, hardly fair on those that can't get to the store or don't have one nearby....

The deal is not advertised anywhere, but if you ask an assistant , they look on the till and you can get any 2 for £20. I now have upgraded all my boxes to the new black ones and given away the white boxes.

Is there a difference, apart from the colour?

I posted this a couple of weeks ago but expired it as different stores were not honouring it (I got two sports boxes)
Ok, perhaps people can comment on what stores DO honour it, so other folk know where will and where will not.

Yes, the white box is much slower than the black one. The black one can also do much more than Sky currently allow it to, it that change's in the future then happy days but at the moment its just much quicker in booting up and menu's

The USB ports aren't usable to watch videos so kind of useless in a way.
Tad limited but for £9.99 or whatever it's not a bad deal.

Still sucks that NowTV doesn't have subtitles, though. :disappointed:

Yeh I was thinking that due to keeping the volume low for the baby. I switch subtitles on if available from the settings but no subtitles on anything I play through the movies or entertainment packages. bit annoying.

Hi .. got a couple of now tv boxes which are working great with my sky broadband but want to change my provider to plusnet .. does anyone use basic plusnet and have you had any problems? thanks for any help Jane

I do, no problems. We're on basic internet package with them and get the occasional buffering while watching but no real problems. Have used both white and black boxes. I couldn't really tell any difference between them in performance.

I'm using Plusnet and can tell you it's a way better company than Sky or BT. Had probs with those two but not Plusnet and their live chat support is great too. Got about £70-80 cashback on a cheque which went smoothly.
Tip: By default "Safe Guard" is activated but logging in to your Plusnet email account you can fully disable it (blocks some websites that they deem inappropriate like Urban Dictionary and etc.

Can anyone help me - these boxes - after the 2/3months of sky packages you choose to have- once they run out - Imqill I still have the smart telly bit; bbc iplayer and bits. TIA
Chet to mummykelz
1 Jan 16#41
yes the smart telly bit still works (iplayer, Plex etc). Only your movies/entertainment/sports will stop assuming you have cancelled (the passes dont 'run out and cancel'; they 'run out and renew under normal monthly prices' unless you login to your account and cancel yourself)

As far as I'm aware, Amazon's Fire TV doesn't have the NOW TV app or vice versa on the NOW TV box. I also think, though can't be sure as I'm not a customer, that Sky Go doesn't work on the NOW TV box either.
can confirm does now wrk in South Glos (Longwell green) but staff did struggl to find offer on till & seems to be a "£5 off" the £14.99 boxes when purchase two.Good luck everyone
