The much anticipated Lumia 930 Refurb seems to be back in stock at o2.
As always stock is limited, so get in quick if you want this phone
The phone is green! although I'm sure a case will cover it.
Guess will be locked to o2/Tesco/GiffGaff
I'm sure this will be out of stock soon and expired.
ps when you go to purchase, although it asks you to select a SIM, the cost of your tariff is not added to the final amount.

This is a great 'previous generation' phone but not in the same league as the 950. Or 950lx or even (imho) the 1520

It is in the same league as the 1520, it's just a smaller version of it.

Agree but you won't get a refurbed 950/950xl anywhere near this price.
Thanks op was able to nab one, this will been a good replacement for my ageing Nokia 635 :innocent:

Damn! Missed it. Green isn't a problem - it's a bonus. The green ones come with a silver frame and you can swap the backs out for whatever colour you want. Well spotted OP, I just didn't get there fast enough :disappointed:

If anyone who got one is after a case, I recommend Snakehive. I've bought a few from this company. Very good quality, the leather ones are real leather. Very reasonable prices. Snakehive website

I bought one of these brand new, sold it on after 3 weeks, mine got so hot on the metal shell when using it, also most of the apps were by third party dev, very poor app support, shame as I really liked the phone, still a good price above

Interesting observation but I believe that Nokia (as was)/Microsoft have more in house apps than any other supplier!

I sold mine yesterday because of "getting hot" issue.

Wife has one of these, really nice premium build quality and gorgeous OLED screen, and fantastic camera. Main problem I find is the absurd lack of storage.
The back of these is not really an issue. The SIM tray can be removed and you can easily use a bent paperclip to release the clip in that position holding on the back cover and then proceed to unpop all remaining clips to take off the back cover and replace with whatever colour option you like from eBay sellers.

thanks for believing, however as a previous owner of a nokia 930, and current owner or a s5 and a iPhone 5s I talk from experience, thanks for your opinion though

As O2 aren't meant to include chargers with refurbished phones is there a recommended brand to consider apart from getting official charger.

Got one from work, buy one if you enjoy your phone becoming 4000 degrees, is ridiculous how hot this phone gets. Also there are no apps at all, for a high end handset all the major apps go through 3rd parties and non work correctly. Even facebook doesn't work, only loads pages you like and not your normal facebook wall. I never used it after 2 weeks

the only reason I am not going for this is that there is no sd card slot on this. I really need big local storage. I know, I am weird :-)

The big let down with most Nokia Wimdows phones is - NO SD slot.
It caused a lot of people to give them a miss.
A shame. Good phones, but how stupid to keep ignoring what people are asking for.

Not very agree with you, as any other brand they also have few models without sd. I have 1520 my wife 1320 an both have sd card and they are great phones

Can't say anything bad about my 930,great phone, camera, battery life....has never let me down....the old flagship phone still competes well, just waiting for Windows 10 update! Will never sell it even when upgraded, just too good to let go!

YES. "most" - majority of Lumias are without SD slots
This does not apply to Android phones. Android phones massively outsell Windows phones.
Not main reason, but certainly one of the main reasons
Lumias ARE good phones.
Badly let down by the daft decision of refusing to put in an SD slot

21 Jan 161#37
Most Lumia's DO actually have SD card slots. However virtually all the flagship models don't such as units based around the 920 & 930 (Icon, 925 etc) and the 1020. Why they did this I have no idea as the 830 could end up with 3x the storage of the 930 :/
PhilK
21 Jan 16#38
It's baffling, true.
Its such a cracking phone, the Lumia Windows phone, theres plenty apps despite the reputation, but its that lack of sd slot in so many. Badly lets the thing down

Actually most Nokia Lumias do come with SD card slots in recent years, which is also now continuing with Microsoft Lumia.

Nothing to do with deserved criticism for NOT putting them in right up to and including the likes of this one, with a few exceptions ?
cicobuff
22 Jan 16#42
I did mention earlier criticism for this phone not having a card slot....although with 32gb memory that is not a problem for everyone including my wife who is fine with it....as it seems some iPhone owners are with their limitations. Personally I wouldn't want a phone without but that's me.
PhilK
23 Jan 16#43
Absolutely, some will have no problem with 32gb. But I don't think that would apply to the majority, certainly not these days as apps & games get more complex and a LOT bigger in mb/gb

23 Jan 16#44
For whatever reason it suits iPhone owners without complaint!

The issue on the Lumia is that it is the flagships that are missing the SD slot, unlike iPhones where it was never available. I have a 930 and I do like it except that I was able to carry more photos and music on my 820 :disappointed:

yup agree. that is the only thing that stops me from using 930. I have a 735 and love it. got 64gig sd in it.
I believe the apple guys don't complain is because they don't have a choice :-)
