ive got one recently and its great, the gamepad is ideal for putting the cartoons and console on at the same time so everyone wins!!

those comments do get annoying
this is a great console and there are a good amount of games unique to it to justify a purchase. espically at this price

You forgot:
"theres only 2 decent games for it" (usually Splatoon & MK8).
"Nintendo are not innovative blah blah blah"
Can someone else please attempt a debate with whatever non-rational ranting generic textbook commenting genocidal-towards-Nintendo XB/PS fanboy comes along to stir things up. I can't be bothered anymore.
EDIT: PS on off-chance no one is aware, its a EURO console unit and requires 3 pin plug adaptors. Also do your research on the seller and make sure your comfortable before buying from them.

Brilliant system, you'd be a mug not to get one.

had my Wii U since the day Super Mario 3D World was released, it's played and used every day in my house, and I've three nephews & a niece who all got a Wii U after playing mine and seeing how much my kids enjoy it.

I got a wii u with mario kart for £20..after selling off a lot of extras (paid £180 for a shed load of stuff and games etc)
It's the jealousy that brings out these great comments on Wii U console posts...:man:

Constant Euro units.... Does it matter in the slightest?

As long as you use the right and good quality adapter then no. I accidentally recently used an elec. shaver adapter marked "for electric shavers only" after moving console and the adapter got blown (oops).
The only real issue might be if you have a very tight space for example if plugging into an extension under a TV cabinet. The 3-pin plug adapter is going to raise the height a bit more for plugging in.

Come back tomorrow for the usual disjointed textbook comments. The Nintendo hating fanboys never fail to disappoint  I hate to draw comparisons with quality like Star Wars, but they are like Sandpeople, they are organised and always ride amongst these threads single file in order to hide their numbers.

sucks Nintendo don't bundle the motion plus remotes with their premium bundles. £40 for an original is a joke imo, especially seeing as tho I threw some away about a year ago.... (not bitter much)

another £200 Wii U deal..

No matter how fun/good Wii U is,it's not worth £200 when there are 5-6 games for it..specially since it will be replaced this year with Nintendo's new console and will drop price dramatically as a result.

Tbh I'd say it'd a fairly decent price with 2 games and a controller. If it had been this price a little while ago I'd be more tempted but now I'm wondering whether to just wait for the NX since I'll probably have other games to play through until then anyway.

We're the enemy in camp, m8, the 'fam'boys don't like other Nintendo console owners singing a different song.
They'd rather moan about other console owners picking on their preferred choice.
Voted cold, like the other 10 or so deals over the course of the last 3 months that have been over £200 for a 4 year old console that's technically inferior to its gen counterparts.

Hot! Ever so tempted to buy a Wii U. Much better console for couch games when friends are over! We have a a Gamecube currently set up just for that reason, but it could do with an upgrade! :sunglasses:

You mean the controller they bundle with it or is it supposed to come with 2?

21 Jan 16#24
Indeed I do. I mean with having a screen it would be more expensive than standard controllers. I think they first retailed at £100 or so, though I'm not sure they still sell them separately. Maybe people couldn't justify the cost of a 2nd one so wasn't a popular sale. Still it all adds to the price and had it been this price last year, I may have went for it.
Though the hard drive is pitiful....

This pixel electronics guy must be doing some kind of vat con as there is no way he can always sell these so cheap and ship them and make money. No way.

The £216 I payed for this consol was worth far more worth it than the £349 I paid for an xbox one. The wii u has been played all most everyday since Christmas where as the xbox one got played around 10 times in the year we had it....... If you want to Base worth on what is technically better and graphics that's fine but for me it''s all about playability and fun.

I ordered one and it was due to be dispatched on Wednesday. No such luck, it's on back-order!
I took a risk with this seller and it looks like it is not paying off!
