Seems a good price if you consider it's a 32GB version and 4G LTE for away from home use if you insert a sim card.

HEAT + some!
Great price for an already amazing bit of kit ;-)
For anyone that has issues [most of which are bull crap rumors anyway] just install
the FULL nexus 9 marshmallow 6.0.1 image from scratch..
Cures all the *issues* that were not really there in the first place!
This is the latest Android Build you need to search for "6.0.1 (MMB29S)"
Nexus will also do an OTA [over the air] update, but that just replaces the potential
crappy version that may/may not have issues with it, not the full operating system..
With MM6 and EE 4G+ these fly and are super responsive + stick Kodi Jarvis Beta 5
on it and dump all your other devices to save the planet!

got mine delivered at 10am. still setting it up, came in full retail and sealed box. no light bleed, only thing id say is very top is a bit brighter then the rest of the screen, but its not light bleed and only the top row of pixels.
photo here ive taken for yall.
fast and very slick, still updating my apps and currently downloading 5.1.1 but im sure it will upgrade to version 6 later today.
not sure how to tell when it was manufactured as i know the earlier nexus 9s had issues, this one seems fine, dont know if the top row being a bit brighter is just how nexus 9 screens are and im being overly fussy.

Only 2 to go then! Mine has finished the updates and is currently transferring all of my apps and data from the 16Gb N9 which will shortly be looking for a new home.Only remaining task is the cut my micro SIM down to nano size and should be good to go.
Incidentally no issues with screen or build quality as there weren't with the 16Gb one either. I'm either very lucky or some posters are a little prone to exaggeration!

That is correct about the tethering and the benefits of a device with a built in sim slot.
I don't know how 3 detect tethering though because last year when we were in Spain my wifes 3 sim card would not tether in her moto g without the pop up warning telling her it was not allowed and forcing her to switch it of but when I tried it in my smart ultra 6 it worked perfectly for the rest of the two week holiday tethering many gb without any problems.

Don't forget if you tether with your phone and also remember some networks don't allow tethering it will hammer your phone battery and flatten it within a hour or so, my mifi also only allows about 3 hours of use between chargers.
If the sim is built into the unit like this nexus it lasts for many hours sometimes days with light use between chargers because your not transmitting a wifi signal.

Just be aware that all Nexus 9's have the issue of lightbleed. If you have an issue with lightbleed, don't buy this tablet. There is the odd one out there that isn't affected but they are the exception. If you can make do with a 7" screen, the ageing Nexus 7 2013, (not the 2012 which has a silver frame,) has much better build quality and is faster in day to day use.

I saw a re-review of the Nexus 9 recently. The guy had bought a new one and was surprised at the differences. They said that the bouncing back had disappeared, light bleed was gone and the build quality appeared quite a bit better. He also said the stuttering had disappeared and it was far smoother than he remembered: Revisiting-nexus-9-review

Some might have lightbleed if people say so (mine doesn't) but having both nexus 7 2013 and nexus 9 on my desk at the moment I really can't imagine someone would say that the 7 has better build quality than 9........ Maybe with a vanilla custom ROM installed on the S2, but with Touchwiz, no thanks.
My youngest two have the S2 (custom CM12.1) and the N9 (6.0) and they both prefer the N9!
Maybe it's the 4:3 ratio they like, or the vanilla marshmallow OS on the N9? Doesn't matter either way, they use them every day and the N9 is the victor, in their eyes.

I've had two seperate nexus 9s myself, the second one actually had worse lightbleed than the first. Even the display models in a lot of shops had it. The performance is also really poor with a lot of stuttering at times. Probably my worst tablet purchase and I'm dissapointed I didn't buy a Shield tablet or waited a while and picked up a cheap surface 3 pro.
I have looked into your request and will be happy to match the price of £259.99 for the Google Nexus 9 Tablet, NVIDIA Tegra K1, Android, 8.9" Wi-Fi & 4G LTE, 32GB, Indigo Black (product code 80250105) seen at Argos.

Yes, I read that review just before I bought mine a few months ago from Argos. It had lightbleed and a problem with autobrightness so went back. My second also has lightbleed and my mothers has lightbleed. All purchased recently and the bleed is always along the top edge and a touch in the bottom left corner. Not so visible with a black screen but way worse with bright colours like yellow or cyan.
Don't say you haven't been warned!

Nice deal, hot, but I have had a few LTE tablets over the years now, rarely use that function, and less and less as years have gone by with so much WiFi about these days.

Have the 16Gb non LTE version from a previous Argos offer. Nicest tablet I have had, no issues with screen or build quality - and the best sound I have heard on a tablet from the front facing speakers. And of course as a Nexus device it always has the latest version of Android - it is currently on 6.01 (dated 1/1/16)
Managed to pick up the official keyboard folio case for a good price a little later, so very tempted to trade up to this for the LTE and extra memory.
