Great price, ordered one for my Dad. I already have one and could not live without it now. John Lewis is by far my favourite store to order through too. Heat.

I had the £75 credit which I used once (£25). Then on the last day 31st Dec 2015 I tried to place an order and was able to use one £25 credit but then the last £25 was not added to my account on that day and so I have lost it.
Does anyone know if anything can be done?

Nespresso states that "credits will be applied to your account within 10 days when you place subsequent orders". Try ordering again on 11 Jan.

I ordered one of these on black Friday for the price of £79.95 because the website crashed I didn't receive my confirmation email until the monday I went onto my account and found that the order had been cancelled,
by this time they were out of stock online and the price had gone up to £129.95. I contacted john lewis and because I had the confirmation email they said they would honour the price of £69.95. Also when I registered with Nespresso coffee club I received the £75 credit too. John lewis were great
Love the machine and the coffee heat from me
Sorry slip of the keys I paid £79.95

Bit confused with this tale. You ordered at £79.95 and they honoured £69.95. Did you receive an extra £10 discount because your original order had been cancelled?
Nice to know John Lewis did the right thing in your case.

how long are the vouchers valid for and can u claim more than one set for each account?

Do you have to be a new member of the nespresso club to get the vouchers or returning customers can benefit from it too?

It's for returning customerso as well. You need your customer number to claim the vouchers, so even new customers need an account before they can claim.

Good price for a great machine and remember you can get the coffee pods from Lidl at a fraction of the Nespresso price

Did that include the aeroccino? When I was looking on Tuesday they only had the Nespresso machine for £55, it was £99 with the aeroccino.

Not sure how good this deal is with the vouchers. But we picked up a clearance one of these for £35 in currys a while back, they're quite commonly in clearance.
Get the capsules from aldi or when they're on offer

to me this beats the point the Nespresso is the best coffee we have had at home we have tried the other pods but we found that they did not taste as good as the Nespreso ones and sometmes they dont work thorwing away anysavings. We had a bean to cup machine before but this was no good as we like decafe in the evenings and I prefer stronger coffee to my wife.

They made a mistake with your only ever transaction with them. They apologised and refunded you.
Have you never made a mistake? These things can happen, I'd stop being precious about it if I were you as you are missing out good deals from a good, honest retailer.

hahahaha comedy gold
i'm sure they enjoyed the 0.01p interest they got off your money. i take it you don't have a bank account? most have a limit on what you can earn interest on some as low as £1000. the highest I know of is £20,000.
also interest rates are the lowest they have been for years. therefore even if they had £50 million in the bank for 6 days and got interest on the full lot it would still only account to roughly £24,500.
so yeah they "probably earned a Load of interest", not.

Am I right in thinking the 3 x £25 vouchers can be used at Nespresso shops (like the one at Piccadily Circus) or are they online only?

Yes - in store to then save on the inflated divert charge.

How much better is the coffee from a Nespresso compared to that of the Dolce Gusto machines? Is it worth upgrading?
Chiptivo to mode_101
31 Dec 15#16
Dolce Gusto are just instant coffee machines (freeze dried coffee powder) (with some flavours), nespresso is ground proper coffee for expresso type drinks. Different animal really.

john lewis will take you money for a few days then email you telling you the item is out of stock or error priced etc then say they will refund your money 6 days later by then probably earned a Load of interest of 1000s of customers money before the refund gets back to you. judging buy my first and last purchase with them

bought this before Christmas when it was £79.95... Sold the Aeroccino for £47 (already got one) on eBay and so got 3 x £25 vouchers, + Spare machine with 3 year warranty for £33. Not bad considering was about to put a coffee order in when the deal came up. Gotta be worth doing this even at £10 more. Nice looking machine as well. Nespresso really quick at processing the voucher claim as well. Already spent the first £25, with the second waiting in my account.
