Yes they're unrelable, have rubbish customer service and are generally terrible, but they are cheap.

The passengers are normally the problem, not the coach breaking down. A portable shower and bar of soap for some before they get on.

Only once broken down in a National Express. Every other time it's been a cheap and comfortable way to travel. Guaranteed seat and no over crowding. Only wish my train experience was the same.

Nowhere near as bad as it was, but 70% of journeys I've taken have been over an hour late, also once it broke down for an hour with no explaination or refund (London to Southampton) I dont know why they dont just make the estimate longer.

honestly i used to hate going by coach but fair play to national express they have made huge improvements. staff are always spot on and helpful, especially the drivers and to be honest it is far more comfortable to travel on their coaches now than it is by train. I always go to the airport and back by coach now. Heat added

I have this problem. My local town isn't listed in the dropdown list. If I go to the normal booking page and search it comes up.

I think the major issue with any coach to London is that they stop in horrid places. Getting from the outskirts to Victoria is always a good chunk of the trip, and you have to crawl past tube stations that you could jump on and get their much faster...

does anyone know if I can book a ticket from Edinburgh to London and get on the bus at Berwick Upon Tweed instead as this is the next stop after Edinburgh, this works out £15 cheaper doing this than booking from Berwick to London as the destination is not on the list for the cheap tickets.

Great picture :-) but don,t like this company. Their drivers often drive over the speed limits - just don't feel safe on these coaches.

I heard a fact that Every 60 seconds someone climbs aboard a National Express Bus and experiences major disappointment!

Good deal if you're lucky enough to live near one of the departure or arrival depots. As the nearest one to me is an hours drive away (and then it only goes to London!) then its not a lot of use for me!

Typical, the times I need are in the full price range :disappointed: great deal though

I always use National Express when I go to London. It's a fraction of the price and takes the same amount of time as the train (if not much traffic).
