Got a link to any of the items that are actually 50% off?
I thought it would take 50% off the prices shown at checkout but it seems they've already been reduced slightly, as they always are.

Never tried my protein products. How is the flavour in them?

They're okay, I've never had anything that tastes *bad* from them but flavour is subjective anyway  I've not had any issues.

watched a documentary recently with the Doctor (Zane?) who did a study on protein where subjects were given protein shakes after workout and the others a non protein based placebo - and the result was apparently that those taking the shakes didn't gain more muscle than those who had the placebo? I always assumed if you wanted to gain muscle / size you needed to up your protein intake but apparently this test proved this to be false?

You do need more protein to gain muscle/repair/grow etc when following a regime. However, our diets are typically pretty protein rich as it is and you don't need huge amounts of supplementation for optimum intake. This has been shown to be about 0.64-0.82g of protein per lb of bodyweight.
Protein is protein. Shakes and excessive protein supplementation is mostly marketing and branding. You don't need a shake to get big, it's just a convenient dose of protein

it didn't tell you what the subjects ate for the rest of the day. the ones not taking the supplement could quite possibly have had higher protein content in their normal diet than the others. a fair test would mean every subject eating the same, training the same, sleeping the same etc. too many variables.

The cookies for example are the same price they were 3 days ago when I put in an order. They say on the site they're on offer, but I don't think they are. Certainly no where near 50% off :/
