Worst board game in the history of board gaming. Can we please all forget that this abomination ever existed? It single handedly made millions of people hate board games for life. Random, snowballing and goes on forever, it makes watching paint drying sound like a great way of spending Friday evening.
Everyone owns seven copies given by granny for Christmas. Nobody ever plays it since that one time when nephew visited in 1997 during power cut and the dog turds to roll down the stairs as an alternative just ran out. Let this damn thing die already.

There are actually some good board games out there, this is not one of them.
Still if you happen to like it, it's certainly cheap.

It doesnt take ages, you have a pretty good idea of the likely winner in 30mins.
And.. if it does take ages then at least you are spending time with the family.. no technology e.g heads buried into phone screens. With monopoly you get actual eye contact with face to face convo

Exactly. After few turns you know who won already and yet it takes another two or three hours of roll, move, roll, move, roll, move. I'd rather roll those dog turds. 1965 called.
You get lots of face to face time with good games too, so what is your point again?

You obviously have no idea how to play monopoly my friend. The winner is not decided after a few rolls, I have played hundreds of games online, and the leader can change several times during the course of a single game. There are many strategies that can be used to combat many situations which most people would think they were at a disadvantage. You desperately need to learn how to play and i bet you are the kind of person who would stand up and flip the table over when they are losing and storm out of the room like a little child. LOL.

I received an email from toys r us today saying my order has been cancelled due to being out of stock and they don't know when they are getting more in.
This seems very strange because it not only says in stock on the main page, but when i select which store to click and collect from, they are also showing in stock on there.
Very disappointing as this was a really good price for this item :disappointed:
-EDIT- Sent them an email about it, and about an hour later i got a message saying item is ready to collect.... LOL. Happy again !
