Ever toyed with the idea of a USA roadtrip? We have put together this great DIY holiday on a budget for 2 people or a family of 4, allowing you to explore both Los Angeles and Las Vegas during a 14 night stay in the land of opportunities! In Los Angeles we have opted for Good Nite Inn Buena Park (4/5 TripAdvisor) from Alpharooms offering an outdoor pool close to all of the attractions, and in Las Vegas you will be staying at the Certificate of Excellence awarded Downtown Grand, an Ascend Collection Hotel (4/5 TripAdvisor), bookable via Logitravel. As usual, if these hotels do not suit you feel free to play around with the search tools to find something thats fits your pocket! We have included car hire for your whole stay as well allowing your to maximise your US experience, whether travelling to the beach, hot spots or why not venture out to Grand Canyon for the day? Route 66 is waiting for you!
This trip is based on cheap open-jaw flights from Dublin to Los Angeles 14 April and from Las Vegas back to Dublin on 28 April 2016, which we found with the help of our flight comparison tool. These dates no good for you? Play around with the dates/departure airports!

I agree - a poor post as the title is very misleading, the costs are at least £300 per person more (including the cost and hassle of getting to and from Dublin - even though the stops are via LGW and LHR!), and, well, just looking at the links it's a very confusing deal anyway.
Fly to Dublin (additional cost) - Fly from Dublin to LHR - Fly from LHR to LAX - Almost 16 hours (not including time from UK to Dublin)
Fly LAS to LGW - Fly from LGW to DUB - Fly from DUB to UK (additional cost) - 18 & a half hours (not including time from Dublin back to UK)
Add on these extra costs (which also may include a 1 night stopover in Dublin both going out and coming back, or at lease potentially hours sitting around in Dublin) and this actually seems like an expensive deal, with free hassle thrown in for nothing!
Direct Virgin flights can be had from Heathrow to LAX return for same dates for around £570, so add on your own hotels and car and it could well come out cheaper, plus no hassle of getting to and from Dublin or waiting around for hours.

So it's not £552pp. It's £789.88pp. It even says so at the bottom of your description so why are you using a blatantly misleading headline?
And as the other poster says above, the hotels are rubbish. If you stay in these your trip won't be very enjoyable.
I agree, I hate this Holiday Pirates deals rubbish. Along with the "HUKD Picks", this site feels more like it's rinsing as much commission out of you as possible at the expense of the genuine, great user generated deals.
5 or 6 years ago I used to come here everyday and find genuine value in the deals listed here. Now I'm lucky if I find one or two a month. Very poor.

This is just another poor Holiday Pirates ill informed US road trip type post and it annoys the crap out of me because they have zero clue in what trips they are "putting together" for you.
The whole deal is essentially a cheap flight. The rest is poor cheap accommodation to try and cobble together some kind of exciting sounding holiday.
Not to mention, the cost shown in the title is not the cost in the price breakdown it's over £200 per person more.
These sorts of post should be banned from here as they're extremely misleading.

I can't see the flights to and from Dublin are included here. You need to add them onto the price unless you live in Dublin. With luggage a return flight will be around £50pp more.
