Good advice.
Personally, I don't think the delivery price is 'harsh' for delivering a treadmill. Cheap, to be honest.

And I've already paid to use them, so effectively free at point of use.
Natural cooling at this time of the year as well, so no need to open a window after getting a sweat up

Just received this today. So far I'm not particularly impressed, has anyone else noticed the belt can be jerky?! Not exactly something you want when you're running 14-15kph. Going to do some googling and see if it's just a "running in" problem.
Anyone else had this?

I reckon you could quote that old chestnut that people post about spending decent money on a decent guitar else you'll be put off for life buying and using a cheap one.
A near gym quality home treadmill is ten times as much as this but at least it will be pleasant to use and will come with a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor.
Chinese wholesalers are knocking out similar treadmills to this for $50 (if you buy 95 of them) but you get my point.
We dropped a grand on a decent treadmill early last year and it's been money well spent, 30 minutes five days a week whilst running an interval programme with auto incline, watching You-Tube from my phone plugged into the built in stereo speakers and really feeling the benefits.

Belt might be too tight? Are there allen screws at the rear under the plastic covers. Some treadmills allow you to slacken those off to loosen the belt and apply silicone oil. Is the belt skewed?

23 Jan 16#43
Is there any way to switch the beeps off?
Vanderlust to m1chaels
1 Feb 161#47
Yep!
Need to open it up and find the buzzer component. It's the same sort you find in smoke alarms. Too lazy to look it up and get pic for you now, but that should put you on the right track. Just clip one of its legs to disable it.
I've done this with my Reebok ZR8. First thing I did when I got it. Crazy loud those things.
