0.2 cheaper than most of the country. I know it's cheaper but I don't see it as a deal unless this place is closer to your home

If you have an older car then great when we had a 3 year old Citroen their diesel stuffed it, the garage actually said to me do you use Morrisons fuel they said they get one or two a week it's not that its bad fuel but it stuffs up the filters on the newer diesel engines.
My old Estima i'd run on veg oil, cheap diesel whatever I could get and it never missed a beat. The petrol seems fine and doesn't cause any problems in the V6 Mondeo

Remember to factor in a new DPF

The DPF filter gets blocked due to incorrect burn process and not to the quality of fuel you use. The more expensive "performance" fuel gets you more mpg and a better burn (so smoother running) but wouldn't prevent the DPF filter overfilling.

Asda responded by simply dropping petrol to 99.7.
Shame the full reduction is not being passed down to the consumer as the price of a barrel of oil has dropped from £85 to £28 approx.
And we think were getting a good deal !
If you take away the tax, a litre of fuel actually costs us 25p including all overheads.
It's no good looking at the raw material price and guessing what it should be. Oil may have dropped, unfortunetly tax and wages haven't.
