Fantastic price and no doubt Amazon will price match. I'll keep saying it though, if GAME keep churning out these good deals then maybe, just MAYBE they become a reputable company lol. Ordered and heat added :sunglasses:

To be honest, you could have played all the previous MGS games, and still not have a clue what is going on.
Just check out these 2 vids, and you're good to go:
Good price, sold my PS4 version on eBay for £20 the other day. Problem is THIS IS A VERY POOR GAME - story is weak and repetitive. I'm a big MGS fan and kinda wish I didn't play it.
voted HOT for the price but i wouldn't recommend a purchase.

Been playing it since release. Had a 100% completion on PS3 and 56% by far on PS4 and never got bored of it! Bear in mind you've still got the mgo to play if you've got it completed on every aspects. Best mgs imo!

Cracking deal, great game. Not the best MG game there is but still good. Most of the story comes from the cassette tapes, people complained about the long winded cut scenes in previous games and Konami took it a bit far and trimmed them down too much I feel. Still, good price!

Fantastic price, the cheapest it's been since that freak £14 deal from shopto just before Christmas which lasted 5 minutes
Doubt it's going to be cheaper for a long while. Hundreds of hours of game here for the price. The story might be non-existent but when you're having so much fun playing you won't care. Hot!

23 Jan 16#44
For an unfinished game it is still easy to sink 40+ hours into this. To say Konami simply dropped the ball would be an understatement. Mechanically this is the best MGS game to date, and hell of a lot of fun to play. The open nature of the maps means there is a fair bit of flexibility when it comes to how you approach a mission.
I wish Kojima had managed to finish the story off in time though, or even add more to it. I enjoyed what little story there was, and there are a few epic moments mixed in here. If you're expecting something along the lines of MGS3 (best in series in terms of how the story unfolds), then you will be disappointed. That being said, MGSV is still one of the best games released last year.

Jeez after getting Fallout 4 and enjoying a few days of play.
I then got Witcher 3, though only played a few hours and was put off by all the writing and having to lean forward and mixing potions bores me.
Then reading about MGS but couldn't see a cheap deal.....so I pre-ordered The Division with the Amazon £10 deal.
So now I've turned into a game collector instead of a player. However at this price and my preference for progression shooters and finally after many hours getting a bit tired of Destiny.....
.....I'm faced with this offer. (Whish it was price matched on PSN, as possibly I'm in the minority but prefer digital as I'm lazy to get up n switch discs)
Now to fill time before The Division do I. ..
A) Go finish Fallout 4, you started may as well finish
B) Give Witcher a bit more time, it's Awsome
C) Buy MGS, It's a bargain, You'll love it, Snake..Snake...........Snaaaaaaaaaake!
D) STOP spamming forums and make up your own decision

I played the original too when it came out. If you knew about the differences, you might have known the cut scenes were redone for the Twin Snakes and re-directed along with a lot of audio. They were made to be just dumb and completely out of context with the rest of the game. I think MGS fans who really knew the series would know what I was referring to. How about pointing a gun at an old guy's head you were sent specifically to rescue just because he forgot a frequency? Or boost jumping in mid air, off a missile fired from a helicopter? Ok then....
Nevertheless I still own a gamecube, and the twin snakes, and I played it recently on Dolphin emulator on my PC. It's a decent remake, but it is simply not as good as the original because of the fiddling they did to it. Purist.

I'm so confused. i love mgs. the last one i played was guns of the patriots which i was told wud b the last one. so have a missed lpads or is this the next one. and surely it cant be snake as he was about to/did die in guns of the patriots. someone shed me some light. i feel like im missing out on life
This is set in 1984 and the main character is Big Boss or Naked Snake. The Snake in Guns of The Patriots is Solid Snake who's one of three clones made from Big Bosses DNA. Confused, you will be.

I find the writing very small and lots of it. My only early but bear. So maybe I go melee and a few of magic and I be OK. Just all that carrying regents around and flowers just seems tiresome. Wouldn't be as bad if you had unlimited backpack.

Nice one, Didn't realise I had £5.96 on my account (not used Game in ages) So £14.03 plus I get another 40p back in points and 3.57% cashbook from TopCashback worth around 71p
So using Jedi mind tricks it's cost me around £12.92 (And to think I was considering PSN at 50 quid only last week and then almost bought on Amazon this morning but cancelled as it had postage fees. Glad I went to the first deal in the end.)
Thanks OP. Worked out good for me in the end. Now to get frustrated and gear Snake.....Snake..........Snaaaaaaaaaake! F or the next few months until The Division is released
