No need to be greedy. MK8 for £10 rarely ever happens so this kind of attitude is unwelcome.
Besides, CeX isn't the kind of store one would really want to visit anyway. Well, I wouldn't.

Too many people like making a quick buck. Personally, I think it's kind of pathetic to buy multiple copies to just get a few quid from taking selling elsewhere. People who do that must have too much time on their hands.

I'd have took a copy of MK8 and SMB2 then left the rest for others. Nothing worse than someone bulk buying when others out there will actually make use of the item.
In fact a £10 MK8 would have made me pull the plug and go and buy a Wii U. Alas :disappointed:

These would have been gone quickly, HUKD is unfortunately a scalpers paradise. Not worth a trip now.

Goose chase?
Seems like a bizarre price reduction. Nintendo games barely ever drop in value.
Plus you've got Fifa below it which is a bit weird...........

John Lewis don't have the slickest displays for gaming! Certainly not in Edinburgh anyway!
There were 6 left of the Wii U game and about a dozen of the 3ds game.
No idea if John Lewis do national reductions on things like this or if local only.
If you are in St James centre or near there then worth popping in.
The also had Battlefield Hardline PS4 for a tenner.

They don't sell so they just do this to get rid of them.

Nice find. Looks line another store following ASDA in more or less abandoning the Wii U. Argos have very little. Majority of Tesco's have little.

Well IF someone can get me one MarioKart for the Wii I'll buy it as there isn't any near me :disappointed:

Or that but selling via Amazon / eBay wouldn't get him too far with the fees and all. So as such, his best would be to sell outside these two retailers (and receive the payment via Friends or Family's Paypal option or etc).

MK8 goes for £30, so that's £1.50 selling fee and £2.60 to send first class signed for, making deductions £4.10, leaving £15.90 profit per copy. Do it twice and you have a free game. I'm working Jan 2nd otherwise I'd be straight over to St James centre.

Amazon selling fee's are MUCH higher than that, 18% on software, plus 80p if you are not a pro seller paying a monthly subscription.
Still, at £10 each, there is at least enough on those to double up on, no small amount of money if there were 5 or 6 of each.

10% selling fee. so £3 off. plus the 5% PayPal. so an extra £1.50 off. then the postage of £2.60. then the costs of wrapping it or envelope. plus petrol to the post office. just go to cex wen ya next near one.

It was reported nearly 24 hours ago but this site's management doesn't give two craps. It's funny, because they'll take down a for sale post in seconds. AVForums is much better for selling then this place anyway.

Avforums is a hideous place to sell items, see people haggling over 50p on there all the time, always some random stipulation to a sale too with them.

This site makes money through referral links. So if anybody does click through and buys anything at John Lewis they get a referral fee anyway. Makes sense for them to add a link. Especially on a £10 MK8 post which will get a lot of views.

Brilliant deal for MK8, but as some have already mentioned, the people who actually want it will miss out due to scalpers.

It was indeed a deal, but it was only the one copy as the others were display boxes only.

it's not a deal if only one person can take advantage of it. without a receipt it's also highly suspicious in the first place.
