In this fourth installment of the popular RPG series Mario & Luigi, the story opens with Princess Peach and her staff, plus brothers Mario and Luigi in tow, being invited for a sightseeing trip to the mysterious Pi'illo Island by its equally mysterious proprietor, Dr Snoozemore. But after an initially hospitable welcoming to the island - albeit with Dr Snoozemore noticeably absent - things take a turn for theworse when Princess Peach is kidnapped and pulled into a Dream World by a new enemy in the series, the ghostly bat king Antasma.
To chase down this new foe and rescue Princess Peach, Mario must enter this Dream World through the dreams of a sleeping Luigi, whose brain is revealed to be on a wavelength with the population of Pi'illo Island, the Pi'illoFolk. Alternating between Luigi's Dream World and the real world, Mario and Luigi must solve puzzles, battle enemies, and even interact with creations of Luigi's own imagination in order to succeed!

Fantastic game. Playing it at the moment (25 hours in and nearing the end I think!). It's a simple game (in terms of puzzles, combat and role playing elements) but it's often really funny and the enemies/environments/story turns are consistently interesting. What I like most are the bros/luiginary special moves - really clever and imaginative! That goes for the game in general really.
Easily worth this price.

I Never understand this logic. That's £5 in points you could have spent on something else! It's not a £5 discount

I've been buying from shop to since 2008, they're incredible. Often if you pre order games from them they'll actually come the day before because they're so keen about meeting the release date. Can't recommend them enough

It has a green 3 rating on the box cover (meaning age 3+ appropriate).

This an RPG with a lot of writing? so not suitable for a 4 yr old as he won't be able to read the story to know what to do?

It has A LOT of forced tutorials with a lot of text.

weird. He/she has saved up points to use on a purchase at a later date. It's about as simple as I gets. What else should the person do with them? Good price for a pretty decent Mario rpg outing.

Yep - I bought this for my 6 year old son but he got bored with the endless amount of text/story/tutorials. He just wanted to get on with it and play, but the game is so bloated with dialogue he just gave up.

most 6 year olds aren't going to be interested in an rpg tbf. Go with the Yoshi remake from the select range.

My 6yr old soon to turn 7 - While one size never fits all with kids and they are all different, I'd say my kid is pretty good at gaming, and beats me at some games (MK7/MK8). He didn't find other RPG like games I got him to be very easy and got annoyed with them and ending up quitting them. Ones I can think of he tried are the Mario Paper Sticker Stars 3DS, and Bowsers Inside Story DS, or something its called. Reading the text on games like this is no hassle or put off, just the games themselves.
the best 3DS games in terms of reasonable challenge, not frustrating and time spent playing for my 6 yr old have been:
Yoshis Island (which I think is game Otterbox is referring to).
Super Mario Bros (DS)
New Super Mario Bros 2
Super Mario Bros 3D Land
Mario Party (DS)
Mario Party Island Tour
Mario Vs Donkey Kong Minis On The Move (puzzle/strategy game, loves this and spent LOADS of time on it)
Chibi Robo DEMO
Freaky Forms Delux
Angry Birds Star Wars
My kid also likes Luigis Mansion 2, is not a RPG, but more of a problem solver game. He does quite well with this and its fun, gets a wee bit of help from me now and again.

It's free money, so whatever he buys with it IS ultimately discounted. Money knocked off an item = discount.

Shopto evangelists lets take a moment to remember the credit card fraud incident a few years ago. A lot if people were affected. And their add a credit card so you can pay via PayPal system is ridiculous. The £1 credit card test is archaic in this day and age.
