There was loads of them in Manchester next to McDonalds on Broadway Road so I pressume its national.

Amazing price, great to buy now, prepare and freeze to eat at a later date or whizz up in a smoothie. This is also great used for ripe bananas which I always see reduced to clear in my local Tesco at about 8p for over a kilo!!

That sounds a lot like my local Lidl. Lost count of the times things have been more expensive than the shelf price. But never the other way around - curious that....

Try your local market. Yesterday I bought a box of 12 big mangoes from Birmingham Bull Ring market for £1.

Bought 6 of these today in my local Lidl in Eastbourne. Planning to freeze them once ripe for smoothies. Yummy!
