The Mamas & Papas Sola 2 Package is a stylish, fun and versatile package offers exceptional value for money, it includes a Sola 2 Pushchair, Carrycot and Maxi Cosi Cabriofix Car Seat.
Mamas & Papas will also price match - see details here
It seems like a one off price match - as now a number of us have tried and they won't budge - so best to stick with PramWorld and buy the adaptors off ebay.

The store in Manchester fort also didnt have it in stock but they still price match and order it for you. Either deliver it to your home or to the store.

Went to the Westfield White City store this evening and they wouldn't price match it either - giving up on it now -will just order it from PramWorld instead.

Stores might have their individual sales targets to meet and have more leeway I suppose.
The stores don't have it in stock right now - website suggests in stock from the 12th - but can I still go to the stores then and ask them for a price match or how would that work, any ideas?

Customer service guy refused to do it for me as well saying its not comparable package even though I argue that I can add the adaptor in to make them similar.
Guys in store did it without asking anything

I got the MP store in Manchester Fort to price match this yesterday. They added the adaptor £29.99 in so I paid £329.99 in total for the whole thing.
Just ask them to price match the deal OP posted + adaptor and they did it without any fuss.

But they won't price match sadly so I am back to possibly buying from pram world
Only it seems -:disappointed:
Have you worked out now how to share the receipt? All you do is upload it to any of the free file sharing sites and then put the link here or PM me, as I don't think without that I will get MP to price match for me.

For me its just the comfort of being close to a MP shop - hence hopefully easier access to them in case of any issues with the travel system.
Sorry, if it's a stupid question, but why not just to order it from Winstanleys Pramword? What is the benefit of price matching it with MP?

I don't get it either. I ordered on Sunday from Pramworld, they have shipped today, and delivery will be tomorrow. Can't get much better than that!

Right - so I sent them an email and they replied back saying they will price match - but when I called the number to order - I was told there has been some mistake/oversight in the price match email - they will look into it and call me back one way or the other tomorrow to let me know if they can honour the price match or not - doh !
And just as I finished typing this - they called me back again apologizing that there was a mistake made on the price match email and it's not a like for like with what PramWorld are offering, so they won't be able to honour it.
What a jolly waste of time this price match sham turned out to be !!

30 for the adaptors.
The shop is both online and In store. Although the mappas and pappas bundle is different they still sell the cabriofix seat. They said that it didn't matter about the adaptors as it came in the box anyway. You've been fobbed off

If you can send us a picture of your receipt (when you can) it would be so much easier for us to haggle with them  As I would really like to buy it from M&P rather than PramWorld, if I can help it, that is.

both Thurrock and Bluewater don't want to price match with Pramworld as it is an online retailer. Called the customer service quoting the price match terms - Mamas & Papas Products
If you find an identical Mamas & Papas Branded Product cheaper in the UK either on the high street, from a genuine online retailer or the official Mamas & Papas eBay store (excluding auction websites and 3rd party sales), we will price match that price.
Still they don't want to budge - the reason is the bundle is not the comparable. The bottle/cup holder and the adaptors are on Mamas and Papas but not part of the pramworld. So the extra £99 is justifiable I believe.
The adaptors cost 30 and the cup holder can't be 69 quids? Also the pramworld one has Cabriofix car seat - not sure if M&P have the same? I was hoping they would price match as buying from them would be much better than from PramWorld for ease of access to their shops in case of an issue.

Sola 2 pram in red. Carry cot. Maxi cosi cabriofix car seat ( this is important as you can get cheap isofix and belt fix base cheap for this car seat) AND the adaptors to suit and a cup holder.
I'm on my phone at the min but I will try and put an image on tomorrow (unsure how atm)

So what all did you eventually get for 300 from them - also would it be possible to upload a receipt or PM it to me, as I have sent them an online price match request awaiting the response to that, in case they wanted a receipt or something?

Just been to Mamas and Papas and they wouldn't price match, apparently the car seat is different from the one in their pack and they were also reluctant before they because the retailer isn't in their approved list.
Might be lucky at a different store but didn't work for us.

Bargainhunteree makes a valid point, the Oyster2 is about 7-8cm narrower that the Quinny Buzz so if that is important to you factor it in. As it happens, we've not noticed any issues with using the Buzz around town and in shops etc and one of the factors we considered was the sturdiness of it as well as ease of use. In these regards it is an excellent choice, it folds up and down very easily and the chunky pneumatic tyres make for a very easy ride, especially on tricky surfaces where it performs a bit like a 4x4 compared to buggies with solid tyres. As with a lot of these things, it may be worthwhile checking out your local toddler group for ideas and advice. Best of luck.

I got a Quinny buzz with my first child because I liked the look of it and really had no idea what else to look for in a pram...I lasted 6 months with the Quinny buzz it is just way too wide for a trip to the shops, I think it was as wide as my friends double pram...about 10 prams later I knew exactly what I wanted with my second and the oyster2 is perfect, although now I'm down to just a buggy :disappointed: the oyster was perfect. If you go into a pram store and stand an oyster next to a Quinny you'll know exactly what I mean about how wide they are.

Its very hard but you need to go for whats best for you. 3rd child for me and about the 20th pushchair. we went for the armadillo flip on the fact it folds very small in seconds, has a proper footrest for an older child plus loads of room. you need to try them all on your lifestyle rather than what you like the look of. This is a great price for what you get. Heat added

We got a buzz extra - it came with a MaxiCosi Pearl as part of the deal. We already had a MC Cabriofix so we ended up buying two second hand Easybase 2's (off Gumtree for around £20-25 each) as these accommodate the Pearl and the Cabriofix. They aren't isofix but that doesn't matter in the slightest to us - we're a two car family and only one car has Isofix. We have a base in each car. Once they are fitted securely they are going nowehere!!! They are an absolute doddle to use and make things massively easier. The Buzz extra is a very sturdy buggy. What we ended up doing is this: Because I walk my dogs on a pretty mucky trail, the Buzz was getting a bit dirty, so we ended up buying a second hand unit for £30 for frame and pramseat and raincover etc - it cleaned up really well with soap and water and we use that for our mucky trail walks or going to parks etc and keep the other relatively pristine one for town/shops/visits.
Works really well for us.
I fully expect to be able to flog the easybase 2's for what we paid for them once they're not needed and, as it happens, we've not even opened the Pearl yet after seven months so that would probably be sold on as a new seat together with the EB2.
Hope this helps - I've been very impressed with the sturdiness of the Buzz. It has suffered one puncture but that was easily enough fixed plus I bought a couple of spare inner tubes for about a fiver off eBay.

Thanks for the reply. I need it for the daily school runs as well as the occasional shopping trip or a day out. Don't intend to have more kids after the one that's due in March first week, so would be my last travel system for newborn - 3 year age kids I'd say.

I have this pram, I used it a lot, as in good 2+ miles a day, every day, the wheel fell off back and mechanism to lock it into place broke after 2 months, mamas & papas fixed it, it did exactly same thing a few weeks later, and so they fixed it again, M&P were good and fixed without many questions, but the quality of this pram I suspect isn't the premium RRP they advertise, and at the price above it is priced correctly at best.
And I bought from M&P directly, with hindsight of the repairs was probably a good thing.
I will not vote.

Love this pram. I got mine from Winstanley's about 18mts ago. (got mine a bit cheaper - but had to get carrycot separately. A carrycot is lovely - but only really use it if you are doing lots of walking - ie school runs - tend to use car seat when out and about....and on that... the isofix base is worth getting - so quick and easy - especially if you have other children to get in and out of car!)
Had silver cross 3d and icandy apple/pear
before - and this is my fave. it manoeuvres really easily.
3rd baby, 3rd pram!

It's an absolute mine field. Cost up your options, for full functionality you need the base / Isofix unit but for the car seat supplied you can get them on eBay fairly cheap.
As its a mamas and papas you can go into store and try it out too!
