Not as good as the time B&M had them for 10p each good individual price though as 5 packs in B&M & HB are 99p and you might not want 5 of a single flavour

Not better than the imported maggi from Malaysia  Koka's from Singapore and it's not better than maggi there either. No offence if you happen to be Singaporean

Not bad.. I usually buy the 5 pack for £1 at ASDA... So works out the same ^^ but i think that way they only have chicken to choose from

That's not what that article says and a company doesn't recall and destroy millions of packs of its products for no reason.

Some Chinese/ Japanese noodles have hydrogenated fat which gives heart disease and some Maggi has mono sodium glutamate(aginomoto) and other chemical flavour enhancers bad for kids . Why do they put chemicals in every other food in UK instead of natural spices? So read ingredients before buying (if they are telling the truth in the ingredient list)

Can you explain or provide evidence how glutamate, an amino acid naturally found in larger amounts in tomatoes and cheese for example, becomes a "chemical flavour enhancer bad for kids"?.
Chemicals make up everything, it's not a reason to be concerned with them. Plus Black Pepper, Ginger, Parsley, Chilli, Thyme, Basil are all natural herbs and spices found in this product.

I was having a Pot Noodle the other day and after reading the ingredients I realised it contains MSG as well! Not that it'll stop me eating them... lol

Good noodles, just dont buy any made in japan as they may not be safe. Think radiation.
If you're buying Made in UK maggi I understand. Koka is much better then.

I don't why Maggi noodles are so popular, particularly in India, because the packs I got from Home Bargains were very average. I guess their cheap price does it, but I'll stick with my favourite "expensive" (70p a pack, but it's 120g and no MSG!) Nongshim Shin Ramyun spicy noodles, which are streets ahead of Maggi (or Koka), IMHO.

The packs you got from home bargain are very different from the packs they sell in Asia. Check which country they're manufactured in. The UK version is more watered down.
The brand you do take however is definitely very very good!

The evidence is in obesity, mental sickness and cancer epidemic in this country. Only after people get cancer, they try to eat organic food. You may say it better than drugs and alcohol but there should be natural choices. If you get cancer or alzimer, s don't say you were not warned. Perhaps you are only interested in selling it but not eating yourself. In India, they found lead contamination in Maggi which lead to its ban.

Don't forget these got banned in India for containing too much LEAD... but apparently the same product wouldn't have been banned in the UK because we legally allow some lead in our food... Madness!

This is not the same product that got banned in india at all. These are manufactured and sold in the UK. They taste different to the version they produce and sell in India and Asia. Only particular flavours are imported from India I think - Most likely the masala flavour. The other maggi noodle imports are curry, assam laksa, and chicken flavours, all of which are the same as the ones produced in Malaysia and sold/consumed in southeast asia

I guess you read the cover story on Nestlé's website, the noodles that were banned from sale in India were ALLOWED for export and Nestlé India export to the US/UK/Canada/Singapore and other regions.
Yeah, but they don't export the curry and chicken flavors here. They export different flavors. They most definitely don't export assam laksa as that's a uniquely Malaysian flavour. I think the only flavour imported from India is masala
Yes don't lie. The link you had provided says they had to destroy 400m packets due to the contamination. I like noodles as well just hate how they add poison to basic foods to sell more of them and make more money. Good food can have more spices and herbs to make it delicious than artificial chemicals which cause obesity and long term diseases .
Opening post
59g packs of Chicken, BBQ Beef and Curry flavour noodles, were 39p now 20p until 2/2/2016.
