Just a warning for anyone wanting to buy these, they are not adjustable waist which is/were trousers that M&S sold that had a waist band that had a sort of built in belt, but active waist trousers which have two halves that are connected by elastic. I wanted to try the adjustable ones but got these instead.

Thanks OP. Picked up these trousers in store today, and very nice they are too.

However, I can't believe there's a small embroidered badge by the back pocket (on the outside of the trousers!) that says "Quality & Value". Thanks M&S, just the kind of message I like people to read on my clothes.
