Thoughts on it after messing around with fl studio...
The keyboard is really good but the drum pads are a bit soft, if you just push them there's hardly and sound you really have to hit them and then you cant hear what your doing! Sure there would be a way in fl studio to make them always hit at 100% no matter what pressure you put on them or map them a bit better but can't see any options yet!
Just tried using the ableton software that comes with it and it's a lot better, pads work awesome and there's a load of preset stuff to play around with

RGR that, although I would have probably got it from amazon and waited due to the fact that they have fantastic customer returns and service.

Its been out a few years by the looks of it so was probably that price at release, amazon has the same rrp too. Be aware amazon don't have it in stock straight away I had to wait a week for mine

Mine came this morning, looks great! The free software has got to be worth a lot too, no idea how to use them though so I couldn't comment too much on what this is like! Gonna have to watch some YouTube videos on how to work ableton!

Yeah ableton lite is the free version that often comes packaged with hardware like midi controllers. Its fun but its not enough to do much really

CockOS Reaper is decent, a non commercial licence is $60, although Ableton might be better depending on the style of music you're working with.
