Umm, just wondering about their return policy. It states that returns are free for full priced items but for sale items it costs £4.50. If I were to purchase a full price item and then a few sale items, I wonder if I could return the full priced item as well as a sales item for free.
The reason I'd want to do this is I'm unsure of the sizing of Lyle items.

ordered a couple of polos and shirts from last years sale, medium size (what i ordered) is a proper medium size, no odd sizing like adidas where for the "flower" logo stuff medium is like large size and the "three stripes" medium fits fine.

You might be unlucky and the items in the sizes you require go out of stock before further reductions occur. I waited a few hours earlier on to purchase a Medium jacket and it went out of stock within that time. Chance you take.

Bit annoyed as I emailed their customer services last week asking would they be issuing discount codes to be applied against sale items and they responded saying not this year.
There's a few nice items but the price isn't quite tempting enough yet. Hope they do further discounts

Not tempting enough for me this year. The few things I like aren't reduced as much as previous years. Probably cottoned onto the fact this is the only time of year a lot of people will buy from them.

Ordered 14th Jan at 3pm. Randomly received one of the items on my order on the 16th Jan and then received a despatch notification email on the 18th for the remainder of the order.
Might just be worth replying to the order confirmation email to ask when it's due to be despatched.

Just went to order a jacket from there for around £50, so added it to my basket and then started to fill my details in. I'd just put my card details in but at the last minute decided against it, so instead of pressing 'Proceed' I shut the web page down.
I just checked by bank account and my available balance has been reduced by the amount for the jacket, even though I didn't click proceed, and when I open the L&S website the jacket is still showing in my basket?
I just phoned L&S and was told that the money hadn't been taken from my bank - merely 'ringfenced', and that I would get access to it again in around 2-3 days? I tried to explain to the woman that this didn't seem right, as every other time I've put things in my basket online the money doesn't get held... has anyone else ever had a similar issue and could they advise on how to access my funds quicker?
