But those for £5 were whole lobsters. I must have another look tomorrow. I bought the Pork Loin steaks at £1.?9 at Romford Lidl and then went to Hainault and found out they charged £2.59 on the same day. Wish I had agreed my case or gone back to Romford as the manager said the delivery was late. ..Blast .. That was a real bargain at Romford ..

Lobster is overrated... bland and a right pain to prepare. Just happens to be fashionable at the moment and a bit of a status symbol.

These are already shell sliced so you can peal top shell away or slice in half. Not very difficult. Whole Lobster may take a fair bit longer to prepare. If you dont like taste of Lobster probably not worth clicking on lobster deals though. Have a nice day.

I think this is one of a number of Xmas items reduced in Lidl - see postings on this website for other (Xmas) items also reduced, but not all frozen items. Thus it is likely to be nationwide but whether you end up getting any of them is very uncertain - its all in the timing - who gets them first? I missed out on the frozen ostrich steaks reduced from £4.99 to £2.99.

To think they used to feed lobster to prisoners in US - because it was regarded as commoners food, with little taste. It caused prison riots and a ruling it would only be on the menu 3 days a week. Times have changed.

I saw these this morning in Blantyre, Scotland. It could well be national for the stores that have them left.

This was Bristol. There were probably 5 or 6 I think in the freezer. Appeared to be their end of season refresh as they had venison on offer @ £4.99 too. Will depend on the shopping habits of customers what is left I suppose.
