Follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price.

I'd echo the comment about Grainger Games in relation to the games they dispatch. Have ordered 3 ps4 games from them supposedly new none had shrink wrap on and 2 of the 3 discs were scratched and plainly second hand.

My exact thoughts too! Played remember me in French with english subtitles (to add to the atmosphere) and it was awesome. Platinumed it too, very enjoyable and unique. Life is strange sounds good to boot.

I got this on digital download from day one as someone else said it is mostly likely cheaper on the store. Being buying a lot of downloadable games since I installed a 2tb harddrive :-)

Whilst technically they are new games, they source them from stores half the time, which don't actually keep the discs in case and sealed. Plus as with all gaming stores, their staff are utter retards, hence the scratches.
But meh, as digital slowly becomes more competitive, they'll be one of the first to die anyway.

I had a bad experience with Grainger games as well last year, took 5 weeks for my Xbox controller to arrive and their customer service was pretty useless. Although ordered a game in December and it arrived within the week so not all bad

never had any issues with them but tend to use their stoes more than online.
you do realise that the games are often sent from a store, so arent always sealed due to that dont you?
(discs removed due to theft) so they can display the boxes..

Is there only 5 episodes to this game and that's it? Or will they be making more episodes? Since this game contains 5, if they make more episodes, would we have to buy them or would it be updated automatically as like free episode/dlc since we did pay for the game..
Whether or not Life is Strange continues with a second season, Baghadoust said that the series as it is now remains narratively complete. The idea was always to tell the story of Max and her best friend Chloe while delving into real social issues with relatable characters.

I enjoyed this but not as much as Quantic dreams games. I also have had issues with Grainger games and found them pretty awful resolving issues.

Games store staff are not retards, they are people. As rightly mentioned orders are fulfilled from shop based stock when needed but the discs are well stored but mistakes do happen because PEOPLE handle the distribution. Why dont you lay off abusing people and start your own perfect non-retarded games company?

Agree about Grainger Games, bought a new game once, had no plastic wrapping on (which ok fair enough), also had some scratches on the disk (not fair enough) and so I emailed them for an explanation and got no response (joke). They clearly pass off used games as new in my opinion.

Since Life Is Strange Complete Season (episodes 1-5) is only £6.44 on the (Russian) Xbox store, do people really want the artbook and soundtrack that much that they're willing to pay £13.55 for them?

Physical releases in general are still preferable to digital downloads for many people, regardless of internet connection, and the £4 price difference over the UK download price of £15.99 isn't that great.

They don't need to open any games in order to have cases on the shelves, they can easily get hold of promo shelve fillers (Game cover/release info/pictures & a yellow or red triangle in the corner saying to take to the till) like any other company, they just choose not to.
If it's open it shouldn't be sold as new, not long ago I got a game from them, it was new.. Was also unsealed & the staff member struggled to get the disc into the case but it really seemed like he struggled on purpose, as soon as I was handed my bag I opened the game in front of him and it was scuffed to high hell... I got my refund straight away.

I can understand 'bad' dialogue being an issue, but I've never understood the graphics moaning unless it's a supposed AAA studio/developer. Who cares if the graphics aren't STUNNING?
For what it's worth, I'm going to buy this game soon, and I'm told the end of Episode 2 is very good.

I don't expect 'stunning' graphics but I don't expect them to be so awful either. I've just finished the 2nd chapter and it's still doing nothing for me. I'm in the minority so I hope you enjoy it :smiley:

Those saying they're not getting on with it, it does warm up slowly. I think I only got properly gripped in Episode 3, Eps 1 & 2 did feel a bit "teeny" and I didn't quite get what it was trying to do until Ep 3. Amazingly unique game though, wonderful story-telling which kind of puts Telltale to shame with their games not coming close to this, imo.
