Sounds great. If they actually have any stock. My local one has had virtually empty shelves and freezers since Christmas was over.

Will be going to Aldi this week. I have tried Morrison/Asda/Tesco lately to see if prices are down but spend a good £30 more for same shop at all of them even with the promises.

Went to Aldi & lidl then Morrisons last night the stock availability was better in lidl & aldi than Morrisons. The only empty shelves were the sale items that'd sold and a few gaps where the old Xmas stuff is being flogged off cheap (but not cheap enough, yet)
Seems to me the post Christmas reductions have been really stingy thus year most stuff us still selling for >50% original price

Even staff in my Lidl did not know why they had not been getting deliveries. They did not have one bag of frozen chips of any type.

4x pizza, the apple juice and spaghetti are worth it. Fish fingers pricey considering youngs 18 pack for £1 at Morrisons.

LIDL XXL 4x 300g Stonebaked Margherita Pizzas £2.35.
Hot for these alone, had them a few months back when they were in, 12-15 in the halogen and they taste pretty good for the price. Had plenty of stock the whole week at my 2 locals

Never seen their olive oil in glass bottle for the 1L size. Glass bottles only for the small 250ml.

When I lived in Germany due to being poor I had these a lot. I don't know if the English one is any different but they are the most disgusting cardboard tasting pizzas I have ever eaten.

Lidl in Lenton (Nottingham) is normally pretty good stock wise considering it's mainly used by students (including myself). Only real time I've been let down is when they had cacti for ~£1 and there were none left. I was heartbroken, I wanted a pet for my student house.
Fingers crossed they stock up ready for the floods of students coming to get those pizzas

Use to shop at Tesco, not anymore. Lidl is nearest to me but prefer Aldi. Shopped at Aldi £68 I tell you it filled up like a trolley and a half.
But most importantly from my point of view is the time I save from walking around Tesco aimingly walking aisle after aisle at 55 different versions of butter. 26 different crisps. Calculating offer, which is better for me which is not. 68 different varieties of juice drinks and all taking hours and that now feels like a daunting task when you go Tesco and just want to buy Bacon, eggs, milk. Still a trudge around aisle 82, then 24, then 16, then etc.
I go Lidl, theres 3-4 bacons to choose from. 3 butters. 1 milk. 4 juices. Tills are a work in process I may add but still saving so much time and not being hurded around like commercial advertised sheep thru Tesco shelves.

Welcome to the club. Now try and get others to join. Will force prices down (makes you realise how much money supermarkets make)
"Yeah but I get clubcard points". What, you think that they aren't automatically integrated into the price you are paying?
