Getting a bit fed up with this lottery of "will it last, will it not"
and by the way... should I take it back to the shop? they know we are not likely to do that, as not worth the time and petrol cost for the refund money :disappointed:

when is bargain not a bargan any more? when 1/3 of what you bought is ready for the bin within two days of taking it home; this is what I found in my fruit bowl.
They were nice, jucy oranges, (those that did not rot that is)

well, considering I have veg in there from Sainsbury's, tesco & morrisons with no mold (inc tomatoes bought before the lidl ones), I dont think its my fridge. They are also all kept in the deli tray in my Samsung FridgeFreezer.
Probably they have just been sat there for a long time. Interestingly, I could not find any best before/use by date.

I read a few articles recently that say tomatoes are better tasting if they are not kept in the fridge.

I have never had a problem with Lidl's food, but I can't say the same for Tesco. Lidl's fresh bakery produce is also very nice.

bought some tomatoes on Sunday, they had mould on them by Tuesday.
They are cheap for a reason!
