Don't own one, but from what I've read, is a big difference from the G4, metal frame, shock resistant, bigger screen, second screen, fingerprint scanner, more video camera options etc, main downside is it's very big!

The h960a model which this is has 32GB of storage not 64GB. Other than that really hot deal.

Really? Seen this on gsma hours and hours ago... Didn't post cause It's practically a g4 with a bundled 200gb card worth around £120 max. Cold.

agreed defiantly not like the g4 .. but I see why it could be seen as that... more OS ram.. more storage ram .. yes it makes a difference as some apps and games will not store to the SD card as the internal ram sets itself up as the SD card. bigger screen.. processor.. like a g4 but more....
but g4 appears to be giving more value for money right now... but its high failure rates are the reason im holding back
no amount of warranty will help when you dont have a phone for a few weeks and you lose all your data on the phone...

I guess its a good deal for people not looking for value for money. If you were going to spend this sort of money on an iPhone this much better buy.

8 Jan 16#13
Its actually a really good deal when you consider it. It was selling at 649 euros/£484 for the past month and a bit. Now its bundled with a massive 200GB sd card for about 10 euros more.
You also have the option of selling the SD card for about £70 making the phone about £422, which is priced well imo when you take into account its a brand new phone.
Yeah its not as good as the the nice little promo bundle the USA got but theyre just spoilt brats anyway and the UK always gets shafted.
All you can get on ebay and other websites is the H961n variant which doesnt carry all the 4G bands for the uk.

Scroll down the page and click this link, white or black.
Add to basket, when at the checkout section where it asks for discount codes, put this in: V10AKTION, takes the price down to 660 euro.

They could but it would likely be 12mm thick.. smaller screen plus thickness is considered 'budget' in the manufactures mind.. Even iphones are getting bigger screens..

I am really considering this, just a couple of questions..
1: Is this definitely the eu version that has lte that Will work with the new three volte service?
2: It seems to say that if Amazon sell and ship it will only ship within Germany. can anyone confirm or deny this please.
I presume the eu version is only 32gb as oppose to the US version being 64gb
Thanks.

This model is the EU version which covers every LTE band in the UK, it does ship to the UK because its from Amazon its self and being the UK version is does only have 32GB.

So tempted :disappointed: I'm really finding it hard to justify to sell my Z2 and getting this for this price though. Need to wait a couple of months for a price drop, still a good deal for who ever is on the market for a new phone :man:

Cheers for that, ridiculous what is it with Korean companies shafting the UK? Samsung done it with the Note 5 and if this is to be believed LG might follow suit with the V10.
Read the comments under the review... though It is quite possible the LG rep was wrong, I hope so, it has a lot of interesting features ie the dual screen, built in headphone amp, audiophile DAC and great photo and video capabilities, I fancy getting one on import from China ,dual sim,64gb...but no 800 mhz LTE that wont effect me much,.... anyone know a reputable importer?

the g3 has the headphone amp and DAC, unsure of the g4, the 1w speaker is also decent on the g3, again unsure about the g4. the g3 speaker is as loud as my car bluetooth hands free speaker. I hope the g4 and v10 are at least as good if not better.

The V10 has a separate audiophile switchable DAC and amp by ESS Technology
Bah, mine arrived on Sunday with the outer box CLEARLY tampered with (the usual amazon fold over style box so easy for anyone to get into, they didn't really try to hide it). I refused delivery naturally, but took a few photos just in case, had a peek inside and the V10 box had obviously been opened, big tear down one side.
Couldn't really tell more but no doubt the handset itself was missing, definite more damage than just being a crushed box.
However Amazon.de are next to useless - despite being promised a replacement being sent the next day they have now sent me an email refunding me the money!?
So now if I want it I have to buy the phone at full price with no memory card as that deal is now over.
Rubbish, incompetence to the highest level from a variety of the English speakers over there. It's not my fault one of their workers/delivery partners have nicked the phone - now hopefully useless when the IMEI gets banned...
EDIT: fair play to them after my initial rant above which I re-vented at them, they've agreed to match the original price and waive the postage for a speedier delivery (plus a €5 voucher towards a future purchase), now lets hope nobody thieves it this time!

I picked up a new Taiwan dual sim version H962 for £431 delivered from an ebay seller, it took 2 weeks but was delivered from their "UK warehouse" (probably an upstairs flat in east London LOL), anyway no import tax worries, white with gold trim I fancied some bling as I normally buy phones in black, the only thing missing for the UK is one LTE band which dosen't affect me on "Three" getting 4G no probs this is my first dual sim phone its a feature that I have found so usefull, the V10 has so many cool features, the camera is amazing and the 24bit dac sounds superb on my AKG headphones. Buy one!

I also just cancelled the 200GB card that was with the deal originally, so they had already given me most of the cost of that off the handset originally!
Plus dropped them an email regarding the lack of a UK 3 pin plug (little known law - if goods are offered for sale in the UK by Euro member state companies then they MUST supply a BS 1363 standard plug).
Amazon, of course, ignore this (told me they do not supply "spare parts" (!)) so rather than send the handset back I asked for a discount and they gave me 10% to which I accepted.
Total cost of the phone for me from Amazon - around £400. Nice.
I agree with the poster above - the audio sounds AMAZING in the car via the 3.5mm jack - much more vivid and clear than my old G4 (lets not mention the G3 and its crackling audio problems - LG have certainly come a long way from that fiasco!).
