Just to correct, I've had thus watch for 6 months and can confirm it does NOT have an audio alert. It's entirely silent but will vibrate with incoming calls, texts etc

Yep I was really disappointed with no audio alert on the day I bought it but that disappointment lasted around 10 minutes as in all fairness you don't really need an audio alert - if anything it would rapidly grow as an annoyance. If you want audio alerts just turn them on via android wear on the phone
Tried posting this as a deal but HUKD seems to have banned them. Don't know why, they take PayPal so you should be safe.

Bought one from the Black Friday Amazon deal out of curiosity. Turns out I use the smart features much more than I expected. It's quite big but no bigger than a good many conventional watches these days. It's responsive and the resolution is absolutely fine (contrary to earlier troll comments).

Totally agree, I'm surprised too at how useful android wear is. I'm using a combination of tasker, ifttt and my own services to send alerts/data/graphs to the watch which is mind blowing. I thought the novelty would wear off quickly but far from it (pardon the pun).
Last bit of the puzzle is to get a good voice recognition trigger on the watch (currently using the phone for voice commands) - its got to be lightweight, fast and efficient. I'm getting tired of the Tasker developer ripping off customers with a gazzion addons that he's coaxing us into buying - pfft - Maybe autowear will be my last donation to him.
Back OT If you've got a bit of imagination and coding skills this is definitely one of the best gadgets I've purchased in a long time.

Thick and ugly like a can of tuna. Resolution is low. Best watch is Samsung Gear S2

You'll get a day and a half out of it with the screen on as long as you're not hammering it with apps.
I was wavering between this, the Moto 360 and the Samsung Gear S2. But £169 wins it.
Thanks and have some heat

Not my cup of tea this watch (I prefer the Moto 360) but it is a great price for a premium looking Android Wear Watch, the ZenWatch2 is a little less and looks a bit cheap compared to this and the Huawei Watch is far more expensive.

I have a similar issue with my LG G watch and my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.....it sometimes briefly disconnects but reconnects pretty quickly again. worse issue I have is that it doesn't always sends notifications through like it locks up after a little while. and a reboot of the watch solve the issue for a while. I think that it's related to the phone as I never had the issue with my Note3 nor my LG G3 phones...

It did a while ago but one if the updates - either to marshmallow on my phone or an update of android wear app fixed it and its really reliable now.
Fortunately I've not had any screen issues either.

Got one of these recently and really like it - agree with swapping the leather strap for a metal one makes it look really nice, as is said above the majority of the top Smartwatches are 512mb Ram, 4gb storage, 1/2 days battery life and run the same version of android wear so it's just down to personal preference of style

I just sold mine after 4 months of ownership. It's a good watch. quite big watch and the lugs are really chunky. my wrist is big but I still found it big.
Google command a bit slow at times which is annoying.
battery life is 1 & half day. for me that is a big factor and one of the reason for selling. if it was 3 -4 days it would have been worth keeping.
gonna try the zenwatch 2 or sw3. already had Moto 360 and LG is superior.
Nice watch overall bit needs tweeking.
the Samsung gear s2 classic has caught my eye :smirk:

CPU spec there is nothing between between the top android wear watches.
It's very good especially if you buy a stainless strap for it, had I not bought the Sony smartwatch 3 I would have jumped on this. Same cpu spec but the Urbane has a heart monitor, OLED screen (pros and cons with this), better resolution, better looking, audio alert, IP water resistance rating not as good as the SW3
Overall I would prefer this to the SW3 but since I have the SW3 already it's not much of an upgrade and I'm more than happy
// edit not marking either hot or cold : As £150 would be a great price for this

It's a very good looking watch when you see it in the metal so to speak, classy looking tho on the large side.

I think it depends what you want it for, if you want something for just notification then they all do that, if you want one for fitness, then for me the Sony SW3 is miles ahead as it is the only one with a GPS ( so you dont need a phone) also works with external HRM ( build in ones dont work that well). It also lasts for about two days if you arent using the GPS.

Lovely watch but Android Wear is not good on the iPhone (Apple's fault) and if that's your intended use I wouldn't bother. It annoyed me enough to give up on it and go back to an Apple Watch.
My friend has experienced the same issues on the S6 Edge though as someone else said, not sure if this is a persistent or fixable issue.

Got one as a gift, nice bit of kit, I'm probably going to swap out the strap for a metal one.

Wearable Widgets is clever, it sends one widget from your phone to your watch and it can be your watch face if you like. I send the Bus Checker's app's bus times widget to it so I can leave my house and tap my watch to see what bus is coming before I get to the stop.

Does yours randomly go offline or say disconnected even when it's connected to a phone?
I've had 2, one has burn-in on the screen which disappears when the always on setting is off for a while. The other it replaced never had that. Both of them, old and new, regularly lose connection with my S6 Edge, sometimes the voice recognition works but then the watch refuses to act on the instruction it understood. When it works it's great but it's not 100% reliable and that is annoying as hell.
