Thanks bagga for that, appreciated. Id be happy to pay 299 with code anyway. A fair distance from me in West Mids. Can contact them 2morrow see if anywhere stores nearer? Have seen they have shut down 5 stores closer, i.e. Nuneaton, Atherstone. Happy 2016. Thanks again for your time.

Hi, can someone please confirm the location of any CO-OP INSTORE as posted for the samsung Ue43j5500. 379 on JL. Thinking of price match even maybe cheaper with Coops warranty purchased. Many thanks all!

An well thank you  As Cornish pointed out it isn't 4k, however that doesn't really matter to me; from what I've seen so far the 4k sets are not very good at all (at least the ones in this sort of price bracket). May just buy a descent hd one now and then get a 4k one in a few years when the tech improves and the price comes down. Thanks again!

I don't know? The Samsung I got was smart and 43" Ue43j5500 says series 5.
I was after anything 42" or above with a budget of £300 so the fact it was £329 and I got it for £299 made it easier to just pay less.
I noticed on Coop's site the J5500 is still £389 ? But in store it was £329 plus the voucher code made it less.
To answer your question. I don't know which is better? LG is newer that's all I know.

Fast moving images are ridiculous. Even on sport mode the blur and pixels on a football pitch on sky sports HD seems as if this tv has gone back in time. In addition any dark scenes such as night at the museum which was watched has same pixel issues.
Would not recommend this tv if looking for a 4k experience. Buthanks for price it's a good smart tv with the additional benefit of 4k Netflix.
Loads of reviews also state motion blur as an issue

Can't be doing with too much motion blur.
Once they hit the vinegar strokes you can't see what's going on.

The Samsung UE43J5500 isn't 4K so the LG here should be much better.

Went into store and found the Samsung UE43J5500 @ £329.
I asked to use the code above (VCUK30)
I ended up walking out with that set instead @ £299.
So I'm pleased regardless.
Good luck to anyone with this set still looks worthy of its price.

Is that a better telly? I am massively out of touch with TV's at the moment. I have an amp so don't need any sound or any more than 1 hdmi socket. I just want a good picture, 40ish inch screen (could go higher).

Got this TV a couple days ago, great picture. The magic remote is a bit useless imo.

That's just for use on the smart tv menus, but once you go in to an app such as BBC iPlayer it doesn't work, kind of pointless ironically

Seen it here also for £347.24 with the 24 month warranty :-) but never heard of them before ?
A few bought a EURO version Wii U from Alza just before Xmas, as UK retailer prices were pants and not budging. They are a Czech company I believe that can competitively out price UK electronic prices. The feedback was good from all the Wii U buyers including myself. Typical shipping turn around was 3-5 days. If you think its the right price, I'd say go for it. EDIT - PS pay with PayPal if in doubt.
