RRP is £139.99 and the lowest price I've ever seen is £99.99 so this is a fantastic deal.

This has vanished from the Argos website, so presume OOS online. However, there does seem to be the odd set floating about in Stores. Only shows up when you check In-Store though. As got the last remaining Set today at Bristol Bradley Stoke today.

I think you're correct in that according to their terms and conditions you should pay whatever the price is when you pick it up. It's probably just my local Argos are happy to give it to you for the cheaper price if you ask for it

That's great to hear  I'm just going on blurb previously included in reservation emails, although I can't find any mention of that now, so maybe they've changed it.

Whenever this has happened to me my local Argos has always been happy to honour the price I reserved it at.

That's just reminded me to post a deal for the Pet Shop......
Pretty sure it's going to be retired any day now.

Hmmm, not convinced by this one. It's a decent price for the set, but it's not a huge amount of bricks for your money compared to something like one of the modular buildings.

I know what you mean - modulars make every set look expensive. But actually the pieces in the modulars are generally all very small, with lots of 1x1 tiles etc. at times, and when you see them built don't look like an awful lot of Lego. It really depends what you're looking for

Remember that at Argos if the price goes up before you get to the till, you will pay the new price, even if you reserved it at the lower price.

Is a box of plastic worth all that money???
Never mind the excuse that it keeps the kids quiet for an hour.
